The designs looks great, but I'm a bit skeptical of the direction S5 is taking. Sounds more like a Matsuda-ized JLU.
more Lopez-ized. lol. Our friend Jose Lopez did Superman and I believe Flash. But yes, in order to make this show viable now that they've lost a lot of writing and directing talent is to make it the new JLU. Time will tell how that goes for them.
Yeah I could tell from looking at it. The characters did not look like they were done by Jeff. But Lopez does awesome work too so I'm looking forward to it. This is defitely gonna be an interesting turn.

ok, i really wanna know.. i've asked this before, and i doubt if anyone really knows for sure, but is there any chance this Flash is Barry instead of Wally? I'm crossing my fingers in the hope that it's Barry under the mask.
if they don't reveal his identity in any episode, that's fine, cuz then i can just assume it's Barry and that will be that. haha
N o clue personally. Though I too would like it to be Barry this time around. If for no other reason than for a change.

Hey guys FYI, Jeff did design Flash and Jose did Superman...but those promo drawings weren't done with either of them. As typical they're done by someone else for promotional purposes, so the actual versions may look a bit better.

Thanks, /\/\att.
I have nothing wrong with Batman having Robin and Batgirl around for they've been around for a long time. However, if the JL shows up in every episode, then it will be disappointing. But I don't count on that happening too often, more for just, "hey, look, it's the Flash! That's cool" than "The Batman is now the New JL." I wouldn't worry about it too much, thebatmaster01, even though I agree with you.

AHH YEY THAT IS FREAKING AWESOME! That totally made my day. Jeff doing Flash is awesome. I really like the Flash and to have heard Jeff do Flash is awesome.
That Supes is really growing on me. I really like it. Though I think with these characters NEW VOICE actors would be better than using the ones from JLU. It just doesn't "look" and "feel" right? I'm not accustomed to hearing the same voices on different looking type of things

I dunno, like I said, they'll look better on the show. Those aren't official 'models' of 'em.. I'm working on getting some of that for you guys. These are the promo shots that someone else did for the show....

From what I hearing, I'm pretty happy with the season. Batman has been a sort of evolution for the character. We've seen him from the beginning to completing his metamorphisis to superhero. The new season will finally see him taking his rightful place in a bigger world.

When looking at it that way, you're right. However, not all of us like every stage in Batman's life so some of us still want to see just Batman stories and how he deals with each new problem.

To me, they resemble their JLU designs way to much. Although I do like the complete green outfit they gave Manhunter. And I to hope that the Flash is Barry, atleast for a change. Also hoping that the GL might be Hal Jordon. But it probably wont be for diversity sake.

I disagree.. i highly doubt if they care so much about "diversity" that they'll deliberately re-use Jon Stewart in this show. i will honestly be somewhat shocked if they don't use Hal.

With this larger picture of Superman, I don't think he looks all that bad. I think it will be weird at first when the JL Superman does the voice, but we'll see.
