"The end of the story of Batman is, he’s dead. Because, in the end, the Batman dies. What else am I going to do? Retire and play golf? It doesn’t work that way. It can’t. I fight until I drop. And one day, I will drop.”

I really want to see that Teen Titans- JLU crossover as a DTV. From an interview I read, they were planning on one. I really liked the idea and wish that they be given the opportunity to do so.

What would you like to see in DCAU DTVs? Me? Tons of Batman and Superman. I don't care what they're about I'll still want them!
A million and one possabilities and I would be more than happy with virtually any! Like Allstar, I just want em...period.
I would love to see the various series continue to get their "turns" at DTV's. JL/U is now deffinately most deserving. At this point all the series are pretty well merged as is and any furture DTV's could easily be all encompasing? (meaning it may not be Nec. IMO for any DTV to "focus" or be limited to only one franchise?).
However; there are many points of interest I personally would posatively LOVE to see explored. Specifically, the biggest and most neglected element would have to be Nightwing / Dick Grayson. His "future" and status simply must be given some degree of attention. I have alwasy really wanted to see an exchange between Terry McGinnis and Dick Grayson. Personally, I've also always wanted to see the Oracle character/persona be introduced into the DCAU .
For giggles, here is an idea I posted for Customcon:
The Brave and the Bold will launch in a big way with a self-titled two hour premier movie directly tied to a past JLU tale! Here's how creators describe the premier: "To launch The Brave and the Bold, we're going "back to the future" (and the past and present) and picking up where the JLU Season Three finale "The Once and Future Thing left off." When we last saw the time traveling thief David Clinton (aka Chronos), he was imprisoned in a time loop thanks to Batman. Now he's free and understandably none too happy. Now, no longer content with stealing priceless artifacts from the past, Chronos is out for revenge! Specifically against the two heroes he holds most responsible... Batman and the Green Lantern John Stewart. Chronos puts his plan into action and in doing so, confronts the Batman of his time (Terry McGinnis / Batman Beyond) as well as the Justice League Unlimited (including John Stewart's son War Hawk)! Chronos is more than happy to spill some family blood for starters but when he learns of the "true" Batman's identity (Bruce Wayne) the real game begins and the story takes off. Think "Back to the Future Pt.2" say creators, "Chronos sets his sights on taking out Bruce Wayne in the past and begins a time traveling journey with Terry McGinnis hot on his heels to keep his *future mentor alive". Not an easy task when all the while he must avoid accidentally changing the course of history or even erasing himself from existence! Fortunately for Terry, the DCAU is chock full of heroes and he's not alone in his quest! Along the way, Terry is joined by a pair of unexpected allies. The first being a mysterious female voice on the other end of a "comlink" who calls herself "The Oracle". The second is a masked face familiar to long time fans... Dick Grayson (aka Nightwing)! But creators warn, "don't expect these two to buddy up to one another. There is some serious tension and immediate sparks between these two"." Plenty of D.C. and animated Batman history is explored, including a delightful segment where we return to "Mask of the Phantasm" and Terry must stop Chronos from getting to a young Bruce Wayne while he's on a date with Andrea Beumont... all without being seen! Will Batman survive? Heck, will the DCAU survive? We'll all just have to wait and see.

I'd like to see a series of GL DTV's that show the progression from Hal Jordan, To John Stewart to Kyle Rainer. I'd also LOVE!!! to see another BTAS DTV with Kevin Conroy voicing Batman, preferably against a certain college professor turned supervillain )

I have two comments. First I would love to see a DTV of Dick Grayson/Nightwing. I always felt like there was not enough explanation of the character.
Secondly I would love to see the Oracle, but Barbara Gordon became the commisioner in Batman Beyond so she was never paralyzed by the Joker to force her into the role of the Oracle.
It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.

I think that it would be great to see Dini / Timm tackle some of the classic storylines from the Batman comics: Knightfall, A Killing Joke, The Dark Knight Returns and Year One come to mind.

you see DCAU makes no sense concerning Jordan jo sense at all-he does exist because he is in the starting credits of the JL show shown clearly being the GL first(to Keep folk like me happy)yet he doesnt seem to be recognised in that time travel ep......
but yeah Id love to see a JLU movie featuring Hal Jordans return after Stewart and the rest were injured-maybe an impieriex type movie with heaps of heroes and the original big 7 from Comic land save the day

CrazyHatter: There is a minimum 30-50 gap between current continuity (JL/U wherein Babs is still youthful) and Batman Beyond where she is the elderly Police Commissioner. Nobody says that in the DCAU her paralasys would or must be permanent In my "vision" there is plenty of time for Barbara to have had an unfortunate accident (possibly less severe than in Killing Joke) and one in which she manages to fully recover from in time? Just my theory.
JFC: Youve confused me... what "starting credits are your refering to"? I'm Interested. Other than his true (and all too brief cameo in "Once and Future Thing", he has had at least one seemingly background appearance (the funeral scene in "Hereafter"). Sadly, not only has he never been acknowledged or named (other than the time travel Ep) writers/producers have specifically stated "in the DCAU, Hal Jordan is just an unknown Military Test Pilot, he never got a power ring and never became a hero". SUCKS HUH!? I always prefered to imagining he just wasnt THE League's GL and was on his own out in space fighting the good fight and we just never happened to see or hear of him. Bummer!

I got an idea for one that I am going to write in the Member's Creativity 2 thread. It will be basically an extension of TNBA. I haven't really thought that much about what the heroes storyline will be, but I have a real good idea for the villains. The rough layout will be that Mad Hatter uses his mind control to tap into a recessive part of Kirk Langstrom's brain that transforms him into Man-bat. Scarecrow being Hatter's partner, attaches a gas to Man-bat that creates a permanent phobia of whatever is first seen. And since it will be Man-bat with the gas, it will make the people of Gotham afraid of bats and Batman. I'll write the whole story out once I am finished with my current Contributor duties.

the first 2 series of JL-is that not Hal Holding the Lantern introducing Stewart?
i always felt that was to right the wrong of him not being included myself
mmm nah it's Stewart himself holding up the Lantern Battery in the original (CGI) intros of the first two seasons of JL... unless Im nuts and blind of course... which is always up for debate
