I saw that at my Super WM last weekend. Each aisle lost at least 1 section of shelfs. (about 15- 20 feet each)

There are 4 WalMarts within a half hour drive from me, and not a single one stocks DCUC or Infinite Heroes. The two that do are over an hour away (in different directions,) and you never know what you're going to find if you take the plunge. WalMart is notorious for scaling back the toy aisles right after the holidays, but this is even worse. Combined with Mattel's craptacular distribution, things are getting grimmer every day.

I believe that the 3 "area" Wal Marts near me have already done this. One has no craft and fabric section at all, and the other 2 have a very, very small section with just the basics. As for the toys, well, Ive been complaining for over a year now about this. Not one carries the Mattel toys. NOT ONE. As far as space, there are only 4 aisles for toys in each of the 3 stores. Action figures account for only 3/4 of one side of an aisle!
On a related subject, I was at my local Target yesterday evening to find that their toy department has completely vanished. The whole section is roped off with a big sign that reads "New Toy Department Coming Soon For Your Convenience". Not sure whats coming with this??

I actually hope Mattel puts all Bat-related product on hiatus until another movie comes out. One less thing to worry about. I'm tired of wasting gas and time, only to end up on ebay paying a scalper 400% over retail to get the figures I want. I've done this with both chase figures from the MM line, Hawkman from the Super Friends line, Robin from DCUC, Gotham Knight and Gotham Patrol sets from Infinite Heroes, just to name a few off the top of my head. I could bite nails in two when I think about the 10" Justice Lords Batman - bah.

I just got back from my nearest Wal Mart, needed some new shelves. Anyway, I was wrong. They hadnt already done the section cut, as I thought previously. NOW they did. Our toy section is now down to 3 aisles! Action figures are still less than one side of one of these aisles, and Batman now has a total of 3 peg spaces and 2 box shelf slots. These are all for Brave and the Bold. Thats all the DC that they carry.
Thanks again Wal Mart.
