Q: How Do I Become a member of the LoG Staff?
A: I've been getting a lot of PMs and emails from fans wanting to become a member of the LoG staff. I'm not sure if thats because they want to be a part of the magic here, or if they want in on the exclusive things I show and tell the staff members that no one else gets to hear!
We're always looking for talented or motivated fans to help us keep LoG in tip top shape!
Generally speaking, we will approach you if a position opens that we feel you may be qualified for. Or, we may post an open call of sorts that you can reply to.
We always need cartoon episode reviewers, media (screen grabs), comic reviewers, etc. to help keep the bulk of the site's resources nice and fat. If you think you can help with this, let me know.
Otherwise, keep doing what you do...think about what you post, because we're always watching..and discussing in secret invisible staff boards! Mwahahaha. *cough* ahem. Excuse me. Sorry about that.

Q: How do I Copy & Paste on the forum when right clicking is disabled?
A: Due to various reasons, right clicking is not an available option on the LoG forum.
If you would like to copy and or paste something, here is how you can still do it using your keyboard!
Copy = Control C
Paste = Control V

Q: How do I send a Private Message / PM?
A: For those of you not familiar, this forum has what are called Private Messages. When you login to your account, you will see a message at the top of the screen to the right of the banner that says Welcome [name], you have 0 private messages.
If you see a number there, then click on it. This will allow you to read your PMs. We often notify you of breaking news and important alerts via PM, so check it whenever you sign in.
This is also a way to communicate from member to member. If you click on a member's name, you will be taken to a screen that allows you to send that member a PM.

This may be a silly question, and if I'm posting it in the wrong area, please forgive my ignorance, but this question has been bugging me for a while: How do you 'advance' through the ranks? For example, how does one go from a "Legion of Gothamite" to a "Hardcore Legion of Gothamite?" Does it have to do with how many posts you have? Could someone shed some light for me?

Well, although I don't think you're supposed to post on these topics, it's okay if you do!
I can guaruntee every new member made a mistake of some kind!
I mean if the staff REALLY didn't want you posting on this topic, they would have locked it!
To answer your questions (and a lot of others are probably wondering too):
In order to advance from one position to another (like from Gotham Tourist to Legions of Gothamite) you have to have a certain number of posts. And in some rare cases/positions you are chosen/selected for it.
Here are the ranks and how many posts you need to get to get there or if you need to get selected:
Gotham Tourist: 0-49 posts
Legions of Gothamite: 50-99 posts
Legions of Gotham Police Officer: 100-249 posts
Legions of Gotham Senior Member: 250-499 posts
Hardcore Legions of Gothamite!: 500-infinite posts
LoG Mod: Have to be chosen or you can apply when a spot is open
Bat-Sentry: Have to be chosen or you can apply when a spot is open
Co-Admin: Almost impossible to get!
Admin: Impossible to get! This is Matt's and Matt's only!

To get an avatar that LoG has already made go to your profile and modify it, then click which avatar you want and save your profile. But for a custom one you take the link from a website where your pic is located or your own pic you take the URL code (linkl) and assign it when you modify your profile. Hope that helps, may not be on much this week but if you send me message I will try to get back to it.  |

To paste a picture onto the site you use an IMG code. What you do is type [ IMG ] then place the link between it and end it with [ /IMG ] but without any spaces in the IMG code. To copy something you highlight and press control c and to paste control v. Or copy and paste if you can, some places in the forum don't allow that function. Really hope that helped. |
