LoG is known the net over for being a safe place that Batman fans can go to have mature discussion and sometimes friendly debate about their favorite franchise. We pride ourselves in maintaining not only a healthy environment for adult fans/collectors, but a family friendly one as well.
If you violate any of these rules, appropriate action will be taken up to and including a pernament ban from utilizing the forum.
Please read through the following guidelines and feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
NO insulting or flaming..no undue sarcasm and all around insulting behavior.
We wouldn't accept that kind of abuse in real life, and we won't here on the forum either. Every fan on LoG treats each other with respect, even when we disagree! No member should cut down the opinions of another. We are all entitled to our point of view. We're discussing Batman here, not world politics people!
The discussions here should not turn into heated debates. You will NOT change anyone elses mind. The chances of this happening are slim. More likely, you're going to create resentment and hostility about a subject. We're here to have fun, not to be at each other's throats. Present your point of view, but be careful not to argue or pick fights with other fans.
NO use of bad language or negative comments pertaining to religion, sexuality or race.
Please be respectful to each other. Just because you don't like something or disagree means that you have to post something negative about it. You wouldn't necessarily intervene with everything on your mind in a face to face conversation. We ask that you respect each other and avoid bouts of 'cyber-courage'
NO discussion of downloading episodes or bootlegs
PLEASE do not discuss downloading episodes from the net in the forum. This is something that companies like WB are starting to crack down on and I don't want any of it here on LOG. If you choose to download eps, and must discuss it with another member, please do so via PM.
NO scanned images from Magazines that are currently or soon to be on the newsstands
While you can link to another forum or site that does it, we can no longer have images scanned from magazine interiors posted on this forum. We don't wish to have bad blood with the toy mags.
Ebay Sellers..
Ebay sellers are NOT welcome to join this forum simply to advertise their auctions. If existing, actual active members have items up for bid on ebay, they may place links in the pawn shop board. This will be monitored by our moderators and sentries to ensure that those deserving of the space are able to get it and are not overrun by spamming.
NO SPAMMING!
This is noted in the membership information, but I will re-iterate it. If you own or work on a website, you are not welcome to join here simply to promote its activities, unless otherwise approved by the site owner and managers. It is rather impolite to utilize the Legions of Gotham forums as a resource to promote your Batman or related website. We realize that other sites may have relevant news at some times and links are allowed, however, accounts, posts and signatures designed as advertisement for another site will not be allowed.
This forum is for fans to discuss Batman, it is not free advertising.
If we all do our best to adhere to these rather simple guidelines of conduct, we'll all continue to have a safe, fun and healthy outlet to express our opinions about Batman. We ask no more of you here than anyone would in real life. There are plenty of message boards that promote idiocy, childish behavior and flaming....this isn't one of them.

without a doubt this is the best batman site i can find.
its well organised. its refreshing to hear intelligent opinions about comics etc......
im from england and to alot of people collecting comics is considered childish.

This is well good, I'm down with all rules, though I'm still getting used to words being read differently to how they sound in my head, and I hope I've not stepped on any toes, I certainly don't mean to offend, anyway good to be rockin with a worldwide wealth of Batfans, awesome.
