Sweet, thanks for the link, Batman looks great, and this show does too. I can't wait to see more pics, and can't wait to see the show on my t.v. screen this fall.

I don't like the villains' new designs. Not at all. They look way too cartoonish. It might like good in a toon environment though.

Well duh...BTAS/TNBA was a cartoon as well, yet most characters looked anatomically correct so that you could perceive them as 'real'. I mean look at the new Bane, his arms are twice as long as his legs and his mouth reaches from one ear to another. The plot better be good.

If you want reality go outside. This is a cartoon,an escape from reality. The best way to make villains look ominous in a cartoon is to exagerate their features. It's a tried and true method that has worked in the cartoon and comic genre for many years. I think the new treatment of the characters in the world of Batman looks great.Just don't take it so seriously, just chill and enjoy it.And if you don't like it just don't watch it,no one's forcing anyone.

[shadow=purple,left,300]The villains are so twisted! Gosh, Joker, Man-Bat, Penguin, Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze, Bane, Catwoman and Firefly are all sweet! They totally work for the new 'tude that they're taking Batman towards. We're so used to seeing Batman in reality, why, non-realism would be a really cool experiment. And, like FB has said, if we don't like it, we don't have to watch.[/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,300]I'm loving everything about this new toon. The redesigns, especially the villains are what I love the most..so delightfully twisted, with a fresh design never seen before, but yet they are still recognizable to Batfans.[/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,300] but yet they are still recognizable to Batfans.[/shadow] ...there lies the problem, Batman works great but most of the villains are hardly recognizable for me. Honestly when I saw the Penguin the first time, I didn't know whether that character was supposed to be a chubby Mad Hatter or Cobblepot. I'm secretly glad they don't have a Two-Face yet, if they continue to go this route he would end up having two heads or something like that. I for one strongly dislike most of the villains designs but I still hope the story is well-written and can live up to BTAS standarts.

I really like the new Joker, he looks like The Joker from Arkham Asylum: A serious house on a serious earth. He creeps me out.

With the exception of Firefly (I thought he might be Killer Moth)...I had no trouble figuring out who was supposed to be who.

I like Firefly's design next to Man-Bat's. It's not the most radical departure from his original look, yet it's different all the same.[/shadow]

Killer Moth tends to be a long-time nemesis of Batgirl more than anything.I can't rattle off the top of my head any issue numbers that he's been in except he has been around for quite a while.I have some Silver Age stories featuring him and Batgirl somewhere.

Well I thought Firfly at first, but then I started over analyzing the picture and said to myself...Hmmm...Where's his torch gun? If it's Firefly he's got to have some sort of torch gun....So then I thought to myself...Hey! Maybe it's Killer Moth? He was just in a Batman Adventures comic a couple months ago. But deep down I knew it was Firefly. PJ

I'm sure Firefly will come with a torch device of some kind...[/shadow]

In a way I can see both Bane & Manbat not having any accessories. I'm sure they will, but I can see those 2 being packed without any. PJ
