This Batman is being served to the newer generation. These kids will grow up like we did and consider this Batman as the best one. I don't totaly agree with that statment. Alot of kids will still consider TAS the best. I always use my son as an example. He's almost 8. Out of TAS, BB and TB, he chooses Batman Beyond. If not that, he'll choose a JL with alot of Batman. Though he like TT a little better... While he loves all things Batman, and he wants all the toys, (well, most of the time, he's picky when it comes to TB, in fact he chose a JL figure over the Riddler not to long ago) The point is, there will be those who perfer The Batman, and those who perfer TAS. I'm nutral. I was not a fan of TB, I've grown to like it. I should Christian (my son) the Robin design, and he is really excited. Robin is is all time favorite, so that might turn him onto TB more. Same with Harley, I think it'll bring alot of old fans around, I'm really looking forward to seeing her as well... Keeping in mind, Chris, that OUR kids aren't necessarily the best test group to examine..I mean how many regular kids without crazy bat-loving dads are even exposed to BTAS anymore? I'm gonna go with just about none. The Batman is THE Batman on tv..and that will historically be their big first impression, and in many times first love for the character.

I've been surprised at how popular The Batman really is with the kids. I've seen little kids with The Batman t-shirts heading strait to the Batman section at TRU looking for new toys. My own daughter prefers the new Batman over the BTAS.
As much as we gripe about the new one. This one does have a hold over our kids and is the new generation's Batman. The show has always been a work in progress. Looking through the episodes, they have gotten better since the beginning.

The Batman will be there Batman the animated series! Just like we stayed with the btas!!! I don't mind the the batman! Every character has to have different interpretations or the character will die off!

Unfortunately Jack-Ups, many people have a hard time swallowing the fact that different interpretations ARE different interpretations. It just makes me so angry seeing TB being compared to B:TAS or TNBA, even though I tell them the differences, they just don't buy it. Characters need to be interpretated differently to keep on a sequence as you said.

Let's hope that they don't ruin the look of Harley Quinn. Its going to be a change, as is every design on The Batman....but I hope you guys like it. Just need to prepare yourself, as with EVERY other character on the show..its a new style....much like X-Men Evolution was. Not bad...just different. Say that to yourself ten times, lol

Like Matt says the design isn't bad just different. [/shadow]

Im always up for change. Sometimes its hard to swallow at first, much like Joker's first appearance but it got better and better just by looking at it

Sometimes its hard to swallow at first, much like Joker's first appearance but it got better and better just by looking at it The great thing about change is that some people really want it...and those that don't can still go back and watch their old cartoons! You don't have to like everything and its quite impossible to please everyone. There are comic book artists, for example, that I HATE. I just HATE their work and I won't buy it. but I'm sure someone else loves it..and thats great...cause there's a lot of other titles I can buy instead. Now I'm rambling.....

I have shared with many Robert Englund fans that he was doing Riddler and they love him, they say that his personality is the same but the appearance is quite impressive (good). I wish people would understand, I am a Riddler fan it doesn't matter what he may look like, personally I love this Riddler's look. What they always have a problem with is they think that these new designs are what the old designs have become. No, not at all they are different, I wish people could understand that. If they would give the show and chance they would learn to love it like I did. I will admit at first I wasn't as interested but when I watched it, "Riddled" I loved it and became what I am today!
