Topps will be releasing trading cards based on the animated series The Batman in October. The main set will be 90 cards. Bonuses will include sketch cards, lenticular motion cards, foil stickers and magnet cards. The cards will be from the first season of the Kids' WB! and Cartoon Network series, with images taken directly from the first 13 episodes. "We take great pride in taking the perfect stills," Topps' Jeff Zapata, who is editing the set, told The Continuum. "Each shot is meticulously chosen to be as dynamic as possible. There are no boring shot, none whatsover." Zapata said that all of the first season's villains -- such as Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, Clayface and Firefly -- will be spotlighted. "Also look for some really nice images of the Batmobile," he said. www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0507/14/index.htm

[shadow=red,left,300]I've been eager to here more on these. I wonder if Topps will do with something similar with this set like they did with Begins. Hobby store packs and retail packs?[/shadow]

I know the Star Wars hobby boxes of whatever line, usually have one autograph or sketch card per box.

[shadow=red,left,300]Kolawan, the only way to obtain autograph or memoribilia cards is through Hobby packs.[/shadow] Yes, I did know that. What I was wondering however was a little more basic; if the Batman Begins set contained an autograph card (or memorbilia card) in the hobby packs. Not every card line has an autograph card/sketch card/memorbilia card randomly inserted in the hobby packs, so I was just wondering if this Batman card set contained one of those in the hobby boxes. Retail packs usually have some other randomly inserted chase cards subsets (holograph cards, stickers, tatoos, etc.) I checked the Topps website shortly after I posted and found out that there is either an autograph card or memorbilia card randomly inserted into the hobby packs. Thanks for help though. I appreciate it!

I wanted to let you know that I have a ton of Batman trading cards from the different movies. I also have a ton of misc. Batman cards that I haven't exactly gone through. I have doubles of many that I am willing to trade for some I may not have. If you have cards that you are looking for, or are interested in trading, please let me know. A ton were given to me by a good friend and I haven't actually gone through them yet, but I will if someone wants to trade.
