Guys, just some unsolicited advice: These are available through Previews, which means you can order them in advance through your local comic shop. (Assuming that's an option for you.) I've gotten almost all mine this way, and most of them hit comic shops before they hit mass retail. No worrries, no hassles.

My shop seems to get 1-2 of the harder to find cars from every assortment. Ive been lucky to get them all thus far. Almost entirely at Walmart(s) but its the villain themed cars and the bat-sub that have never appeared at reg retail. Unless Its one that may not see retail I'll buy from the shop, otherwise Im willing to wait and save some $ since the shop charges about 3$ more per car.

otherwise Im willing to wait and save some $ since the shop charges about 3$ more per car. A perfectly valid reason. And hey look, Kuan comes through again! Thanks man! I only wish Corgi would stick to 1:18 for the larger ones, instead of waffling between that and 1:24. Regardless, I am very excited for these! C.

You said it Cas... Ive been baffled as well over why they release two different larger scales? The 1:24th's are only a couple a bucks dif than 1:18th... and I personally would pay the lil extra for the uniformity!
... PS: Kuan is the man! : )

Agreed. I'd happily pay just to get one uniform scale. I'd have preferred the 1:24/1:25 scales since we already had a number of die-cast cars and styrene models in that scale, but I guess that horse is out of the barn.

Kuan, could you tell me a little more about the bronze age batmobile set being solicited in the Dec. Previews. I has an 80s Batmobile and a 70s version (rather plain w/ the bat mask hood design). What's interesting is that it reportedly comes with 3 figures. are these the 2 Batman drivers and Robin (pictured in the 70s car) or are there others?

As to availability I still contend these are coming out two at time as far as new models in Wal Mart's cases. All of a sudden in Philly area they have the 90's v2 and 40's roadster at multiple stores. The Redbird and 60's v2 appeared simultaneously in the same stores couple months back as did 50's & 70's before that. Be patient, (unless you want to order them) and I bet the Sub and 30's come next followed by Catwoman and Twoface. What's interesting is the models that continue to ship with newer case selections and the ones that seem to have dissappeared (ie Batmarine, 2000v1)

No Corgi's at either of my Wal-Marts. One worker said Wal-Mart has quit carrying them. Hopefully, if it's true he just means that store and I'll still find them at the other Wal-Mart.

[shadow=red,left,300]Corgi's are still plentiful at my local Walmart. They have plenty of the last wave (Redbird, 70's Batmobile, etc.) Although a few days ago I managed to snag the 40's Batmobile (version 2) from there. It was the first "new" Corgi I had seen there in awhile. [/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,300]I haven't seen that V2 90's Batmobile yet. After finding the 40's V2 Batmobile, I know new ones are hitting the store, so I'll keep an eye out. If I come across one, I won't hesitate to pick one up for you.[/shadow]

Hey Gotham, let me know if you (or anyone else) has trouble. The Corgi's are all still plentifull in my area as well. The 90's V2 was the last to finally hit retail shelves for somereason but now I'm finding them regularly.
