[shadow=red,left,300]^Truth be told, I thought Lois's voice was out of place too. It just did not fit with the reast of the charactors. [/shadow]

I think part of the problem was that she was played so well in STAS. That voice was perfect. I'm sure that someone could bring a new voice to the character that was completely different, but the woman in SD failed.

Taped and watched this off cartoon network this weekend.
Granted I'm not a huge Superman fan... But this one just didn't inspire (I guess thats the right word) me like the other DCU movies have. There was so much of the original death story taken out. I just wasn't that impressed. I also think SUPERMAN/DOOMSDAY was a wrong title. Doomsday was only in this for maybe the first half hour. THE DEATH OF SUPERMAN would have been a better title.
I did like though how they showed the characters reaction and dealing with Superman's death. Jimmy become a tabloid journalist. All that with Lois. I really liked Lex's reaction though. Like a part of him had been taken. But is it just me, or did Lex seem a little to "into" Superman. He talked and acted like they had been seriously dating or something. Lex just made it seem more like sexual tension than anything else. But I guess it makes sense. In the words of Dr. Doofenshmirtz, "Hes my nemesis... I tell him everything".
I also liked the fortress robot. He was a cool character. Toyman was cool.
Overall though... I didn't think it was that great. DrGreenEvil
