Andy she's spectacular! The side view shots are especially amazing. Fantastic work. This is the type of exclusive that Mattel should be offering through Diamond or Wizard.

I'm just glad that I don't have to be the one to judge all these. Excellent work guys. It blows my mind to see all the great customs you all have done. I have trouble painting a straight line on just a simple repaint...
Again, excellent job. Just know, this is like the LOG Miss America pagent - even if you don't win, it's an honor just to be featured! ;D

FB,
That is your FIRST fully rendered custom? You are yanking all our chains, my friend.
Seriously, great work, especially for a first foray. Keep that up and you'll be making us all look bad.

Casimir,to have comments like that from you have just made my week!I respect your work so much and have often referred to your site for reference and ideas.
She is my first real custom but as you know i have built Model Kits for several years. So with Tongue in Cheek i just applied what i know from that and got into it.The processes are quite different but it's loads of fun.I have several more planned already.
Again thank you so much Casimir.

No problem, FB. Robin's good work.
Funny you should say that about models. I've tried a few in the last couple of years. I can spend a year working on a custom figure, using parts that were never meant to go together, but give me a kit with all the parts designed to fit together and all my patience goes out the window. Weird.

DAAAAAAAAMMMNNNN... one heluva job Faith! Talk about impressed... you should see some of my first attempts Jesus. Way to go! The belt and smaller accents really are exceptional! (at this point I guess the best I can hope for is an "honorable mention" for the dang batmobiles! ;D)

Sometimes it really stinks to be me ... Due to an unfortunate dremel incident, my entry into the contest has been damaged beyond quick repair, given the July 4th deadline (unless I can find replacement fodder tomorrow). As a result, I may not be able to enter the contest. For those interested, I was attempting to customize a non-animated version of Batwoman from the Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman DVD. Oh well, maybe next year..... On that note, let me say how excited I am by all of the entries thus far! I have learned so many great tips from all of you that I will certainly not quit because of this and will present my custom, albiet after the deadline. Best of luck to all the entries and congratulations! You have made being the MOD of this board a very fun experience!! Now, i will cry myself to sleep.. ;D
