Been away since May because my stupid AOL wouldn't let me retrieve my password. Matt finally helped me out so I could get back on, and since my other thread is pretty much dead I thought I'd start a new one with a TON of new stuff I've been doing. Sit back and enjoy because I probably have over 100 updates to post, I can think of some that you guys are going to love. Without further delay.... Over on the SHH boards someone came up with the idea to make these iPod spoofs. I love the iPod ads so I pretty much went nuts as you can see... You guys are going to hate this...

Great job on the artwork, but, here's my question; couldn't Batman just get a "mini" that could be located in his belt somewhere and have the ear-phones go through his cowl so that he could listen to it whenever he would want to? And, besides, (here's something that I have wanted to know for a long time now) what would be on his Ipod, or, what types of web-radio would he listen to?

If his 'Pod was hidden it wouldn't be much of an ad anymore.
I imagine he'd listen to some pretty heavy music....music to knock someone's teeth out to.

More stuff... Pen sketches that went horribly wrong... These turned out ok.. Ideas for a Cap redesign: I always thought it would be a cool storyline to have Tony Stark/Iron Man stumble upon Steve Roger's frozen body somewhere in the artic (like he did in Ultimates). Upon reviving Cap he learns of his past history and the super soldier program he was involved in. Wanting to continue his crusade against evil Rogers decides to join Stark's newly formed government funded team "The Avengers". Knowing that his uniform of old won't cut it against the criminals of today Tony Start outfits Steve Rogers with an updated version of his former uniform complete with all of the latest armor/technology and Steve Rogers once again assumes the mantle of "Captain America". - The suit itself is loosely based on the body armor from Batman Begins. Clad in the colors of the country Cap has sword to protect this kevlar/nomex bi-weave is tear resistant, fireproof and capable of stopping a bullet from a distance. - The helmet is also a kevlar/nomex bi-weave with an adamantium plate grafted to the front. The eagle icon on the forehead serves as a GPS tracking device, and the "wings" are really a radio transceiver capable of 2-way communication with any member of The Avengers. The chin strap on the helmt is tamper proof and emits a powerful eletrical current (which Cap is shielded from due to the insulation in his helmet) if Cap is ever rendered helpless. - Built inside of each glove is a high powered magnetic pulse generator that is capable of pulling certain objects directly into Cap's reach. - The utility belt is an homage to the one Cap used to wear during WW2. On the belt is a canteen, first aid kit, flash gernades, high powered explosives and smoke pellets. - The shield (not pictured...yet) is made of an indestructible adamantium alloy. The outer rim of the shield has been fitted with a diamond like substance capable of cutting through almost any substance known to man. The shield itself has been magnetized in sync with the magnetic pulse on Cap's gloves so it returns instantly after being thrown, or can be instantly rendered useless if used against him.

Thanks, it's good to be back. I was getting pissed because I couldn't retrieve my password for the life of me. Casmir - I'm not into the whole iPod craze either, but I love the simplicity of the ads. 3 more I just finished 10min ago.... Wait until you guys see my custom decals....

Regarding the Cap redesign ^, I just came up with something like that last night for a fan-fiction story about Batman! It's an Elseworld's "what-if" story, but, just about every thing that you included on "the cap'n" was placed on my Dark Knight...Weird... ;D

Hellboy: And the "painting" I did that I made my sticker from. And some screenshots of the construction of the picture: And a kick butt sticker I made from the new Superman Returns logo. This is in COLOR and is made of overlapping 2 separate pieces of vinyl. I stuck it on my fridge next to all of my other Superman swag. Actually sold quite a few of these....

How do you make custom decals? I wanted to make Batman rogues gallery ones, like a Black Mask one for my car...

1) Buy vinyl (I get it from eBay for CHEAP)
2) Buy yourself a plotter, a new 48" one runs around $2,000 but you can use eBay to find them for around $700+
3) Learn Illustrator
4) Once you draw your image, you tell the software to plot out the lines, it feeds it to the plotter and cuts it out.
5) You then have to hand remove any negative area (that you don't want on your car) I use a fine pair of tweezers and an X-acto knife....and some GOOD LIGHTING.
6) Apply a layer of transfer tape over the top for applying the decal to a surface.
It's not as hard as it sounds. Getting the material is the hardest part.

[shadow=purple,left,300]Welcome back, SOB. Your stuff is still amazing me. I'm definitely digging the Peter Griffin iPod ad (all of them are awesome), even though I don't understand the iPod hype, either.[/shadow]

OneDisturbedSOB, I officially hero you... ;D ...
Also, if you have some time/ would like to work on another Ipod "ad" could you take the classic Batman image from Year One: Chapter 4/ issue 4 with the spotlight on him, and give him an Ipod? You could have the tag-line be something like "Every collection has a beginning...", or, "Strikes Fear Into the Hearts of Criminals"...Something like that? 1.) It would look great as an ad, and, 2.) I thought that it would be a cool picture to slide into the cover of one of my transparent-binder covers for school (it starts on Monday for me... )
Thanks!...I appreciate all that you do! ;D
