aww crapola!! I missed it...when is it playing again?? Chances are, you missed it. What time zone to do you live in? I am on east coast. I already watched it two hours ago. It is a good ep. I was a little bit more satisfied with this one than "I Am Legion". The stalker, the tomb, and BATMAN ;D.

I thought it was a very good episode. Finally we get to see a tried and true Hawkman, not a "sorta Hawkman" like we got in Starcrossed.
I loved the way they tied together the Golden Age/Silver Age/Animated Age (did I just coin a term there?) treatments of the Hawkpeople.
You had your ancient Egypt, you had your Thanagar, you had your Midway City reference, you had your Shadow Thief, you had your Carter Hall/Katar Hol, you had your archaeology.
Very thoughtful. Questions raised and not completely answered. Nicely handled all the way around.
Dug the whole Shayera-John-Vixen-Batman personal stuff too.

I think Batdan pretty much summed up my thoughts. Loved it! thought they did a stellar job splicing all the Hawk-History together. The animation was outstanding as well (particularly the Egyption elements. That had to be a pain but looked beautiful). At first I never really cared too much whether or not the clasic Hawkman appeared (other than originally wishing we had gotten HM instead of HG) and I figured we had got enough through the Thanagarian stories, but I couldnt help being thrilled with him! He looked and sounded great (I know that voice from somewhere). My only concern is I did get the feeling Carter was more "crazy" than legitimate? At least thats how it seemed to lean IMO. Cant wait to see this develope! I sure hope there will be a suitable continuation/resolution and not a one or two episode thing?
All in all a great job!

"Ancient history" is another winner. Easily two of the great standouts from this final season. These two are really the most legitimate, fictional, dramatic "tales" of the season... in the traditional sense.
