Does anyone remember a band from the 70s called, appropriately enough, Detective? They made a few albums and were fronted by Michael Des Barres.

You know, I never thought I'd like something from an American Idol person, but the new song by Daughtry, "It's Not Over", is pretty good.

I recently got The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance, and have to say it's a really good album. And what some of you may not know is that it's a rock opera like American Idiot. And even though I've heard it all only a few times, I'm really starting to get the story.

Normally it isn't the type of music I listen too but I have to say it's a pretty good albulm. [/shadow]

And even though I've heard it all only a few times, I'm really starting to get the story. I love that album, it's My Chemical Romance's best one so far. My favorite song on it is "Mama". At the moment I have been listening to The Decemberists "The Mariner's Revenge Song". It's fantastic over eight minutes and it tells an entire story. It's off their album Picaresque, defiantly worth checking out.

[shadow=green,left,300] I'd say "Welcome To The Black Parade" is my favorite song on the cd for now, otherwise my favorite MCR song is probably "The Ghost of You". [/shadow]
