WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL SOUTH PARK THREAD FOR THE LEGIONS OF GOTHAM! Talk about favorite episodes, moments, and every "OH MY GOD THEY KILLED KENNY!" from the show, including the new episodes now airing! This thread may be shut down, if we get a little too into the show so keep it clean, because we know South Park won't.

It seems like that any successful animated comedy loses something the longer that it goes on. Maybe it is just me, but it seems this way with all our favorites: South Park, Simpsons, Family Guy, etc.

One of my favorite and funniest moments on South Park is when they are playing Lord of the Rings, the entire episode is great, the kids accidently get the porn film instead of Lord or the Rings for Butters to watch and throughout the show Butters morphs into Gollum, in a sense, but getting to my favorite part was when Tokken was asked to go in and view the video, he came back out and without his LOTR costume on and said "I'm not playing anymore, it's not fun, I'm out" and he did that clap thing with his hand, that was great.
Oh and when they are sitting around in the circle and Kevin is wearing the stormtrooper mask and Cartman is like "Kevin" and Kevin gets up and leaves, great stuff, and when they meet up with the Harry Potter kids ha ha ha.... Cartman's one liner is awesome when the kids are like we are playing Harry Potter, Cartman responds with well I think we all know what he said

I've gotta go on another rant again. I've hated Tom Cruise before, but now I loathe him entirely! It wasn't bad enough for him to steal Batman's thunder last summer, but now he made Comedy Central ban one of my favorite South Park episodes! It was the one where they were making fun of scientology and made fun of him too. They were saying that Stan was the reincarnation L. Ron Hubard, and Tom Cruise was excited, and when Stan told him he wasn't a good actor, he ran into his closet and locked himself in. They all told him to come out of the closet. That's pretty much the whole joke. I've got a message to Tom Cruise if he EVER shows up here: Stop your whining and toughen up! They made fun of R. Kelly and John Travolta on that episode too, but you don't see them taking this too far. They can take a joke, but apparently you can't. Now because of you, I'll never see one of my favorite episodes again! And it was one of my favorites because it got back at you for stealing the Bat's thunder! For my final statement, you're a nutjob, scientology's a big load of crap, and take that chip out of Katie's brain that makes her think your actually attractive. This is strike two Tom. One more strike. Pray you don't cross me again.

You said Napoleon Dynamite was a better actor than Tom Cruise? He'll never get out of that closet.
RIP Chef May you make sweet love by the fire in heaven.

So this Scientology thing is really out of hand, huh? For what its worth,I dont think Hayes quit of his own free will. All Scientologists have to go through this process called "auditing" whereby you confess every negative thought or action you have ever experienced-its a VERY graphic and VERY intense procedure.Anybody who later goes against the church risks having their audit records released to the press. Its a dirty trick but its just one of many Scientology uses to keep current and former members in line.Apparently,Cruise was able to get the episode pulled from re-runs by saying that he would not promote Mission Impossible 3 if it were shown again-and since Comedy Central is owned or at least partly owned by the same company thats releasing MI3,he got his wish.Thats my main problem with Scientology-they bully and intimidate anyone who doesnt agree or approve of their BS.Hell, they'll probably track me down for this post and try to get me fired from my job...they're just petty enough to do it.

I said it was all a big load of crap. How're they going to come after me? I'm only 15. What're they gonna do?
If Cruise wants to get it on, I'll get it on. Bring it on Tommy boy!

**** Tom Cruise, he is a SPOILED, and a piece of garbage!
I can't wait for the new season to start, I was watching the South Park movie again last night on Comedy Central, and that has got to be one of the funniest, and creative movies off all time...
My favorite Cartman line at anytime is when he gets upset and is like "Screw you guys, I am going home", but sometimes he shortens it up and is like "Screw You guys...Home" and he does the whole finger back and forth pointing and leaves!

You guys remember that episode where the kids were on the little league team, and they kept wanting to lose? I remember that one guy on there who called himself "The Bat Dad". He wore a purple Batman cowl and cape. Now that's funny right there.

RIP CHEF Curse the Super Adventure Camp! They killed Chef! Is that a real thing? Cuz it had another one those "This is what they really believe" things on the bottom of the screen. Is this real? What about the ending with DARTH CHEF?

Im sorry,
They should have just got another voice actor. I personally believe the original Shaft, Richard Roundtree, would have been a good replacement. Heck I think if Southpark had asked nicely Samuel L Jackson might have been a good new voice. But since that didnt happen they should have just let Chef die at the end of the ep. So unless the end of this season is like the end of RETURN OF THE JEDI. This show officially just got to stupid even for me.

Kyle's end speech summed up the whole event. remember the good times, because it was some fruity club that scrambled his brains. The scientologist brainwashed Isaac Hayes, just in case you missed the message. That was the best speech they had yet.

No one can ever replace Hayes. NEVER!
Tom Cruise is my arch enemy, but I'm now at war with all Scientologists! They've ruined South Park forever! Who will join me?!

[shadow=purple,left,300]I think "South Park" got it correct with the episode dedicated to Scientology. It is not a religion I can take seriously. That's as far as I want to go without violating LoG's rules.
Anyway, I haven't seen the new episode yet. I'm a bit upset at Hayes for leaving the series. He has a double standard when it comes to this stuff, apparently. I think the show might be better off without him.[/shadow]

Curse the Super Adventure Camp! They killed Chef! Is that a real thing? Cuz it had another one those "This is what they really believe" Is this real? DARTH CHEF? Yes and no. Im not aware of any "across the board" or widespread association/connection between Pedophilia and Scientology. I seriously doubt any such "organization" goes by that name, but there ARE many such real organized groups of pedophiliac SCUM (like nambla). I haven't seen this SP Ep. either but would have to assume they were basically spoofing nambla and issuing the "lowest blow" or worst insult possible to Hayes by associating him with such a group.

They were actually spoofing how the Scientologists brainwashed Hayes into quitting the show. We shouldn't be mad at Hayes for leaving though. We should be mad at that fruity little club for scrambling his brains and making him leave.

[shadow=purple,left,300]I think Isaac Hayes would have left the show anyway. He suffered a stroke a few months ago and was rumored to have been thinking about leaving the show altogether.
Personally, I wish that every religion would just lighten up when it comes to this show. It's a cartoon. It's offensive, but you don't have to watch it. Ignorance is bliss.[/shadow]

From what I heard Issac Hayes loved doing the show, with a wife and a new baby to support, he said he loved the stability of a working job, but with Scientology and all they forced his hand.
I thought the episode was brilliant and Chef Vader or Darth Chef was AWESOME! His red spatula lightsaber RULED!

ON THIS WEEK'S EPISODE:
A disaster of epic proportions threatens the town and Stan is to blame.
This may sound a repeat of "Two Days Before the Day After Tomorrow", but it's a different disaster that involves hybrid cars. That's all I'm going to say.

Do you guys think there will really be a part two next week? Or will Comedy Central wuss out? I've heard stuff that there will be a part two, with the Family Guy writers revealed to being Scientologists, the Super Adventure Club, or the Crab People. WILL THERE BE A PART TWO?!

Manatees? That's the secret of the Family Guy writers? I waited a whole week in suspense for that? WTFs with that?
They really had me going with that Terrance and Phillip special joke in the beginning. I was thinking, "Ah, S.O.B! Not again!"

THIS WEEK ON SOUTH PARK:
After a temporary hiatus, Towelie has returned with a new novel based on his experiences with his drug addiction. The book was featured in Oprah's Book Club and instantly became a best seller. It also inspired millions to turn their lives around. However, when it turns out the book was a lie, Towelie is tempted to return to the way he was.

I must bring up the past again. Q: How many of you loved the "Trapped in the Closet" episode and are mad that Tom Cruise had it pulled? Well if you're like me, I'm one of them. So if you want this episode back on the air, I found a petition site that has people saying that they want it back as well: www.petitiononline.com/chefgate/petition.htmlNow I know what some of you are thinking: "Why should we get this episode back? It's not a big deal." Well, think about this. If everyone who was offended by an episode of South Park and had it pulled, there wouldn't be a show to watch. We have the right to free speech, so who's with me on getting this episode back?

[shadow=purple,left,300]^ Cruise didn't have it pulled. Comedy Central pulled it for some reason, one which I'm not quite sure of .[/shadow]
