[shadow=green,left,300]Lets hear what you thought of the issue! Discuss the story, writing and art here.[/shadow] The thrilling series reflecting the great new animated show continues! The creature called Man-Bat escapes Arkham with a secret weapon: a sonar shriek that drives citizens “batty”! Can the Batman keep Gotham from becoming a “City of Bats”?

[shadow=green,left,300]Alright, I guess I'll start it off!! I found Strikes #2 to be a VAST improvement over issue #1 both in art and writing. ...and thats saying a lot, cause I actually liked issue #1!
Chris Jones has a complete graps of Matsuda's style already by issue #2...its like still frames from the cartoon.
Bill Matheny really stepped up to the plate on this one! I was very pleased to find it a solid and interesting read!
I won't spoil anything, but yet again, the last page leaves me speachless!
A+ I highly recommend you get on board with this one now, if you haven't already...its going to end up being a hot one![/shadow]

I agree Matt this issue was much better than the last one, I still think the Batman cracks too many jokes but the same is true of the show, so that's not Matheny's fault. I just wish the Man-Bat episode had aired before this issue came out so I would have some idea of what Langstrom's voice sounds like. All in All I enjoyed this issue and look forward to the next one.

I thought it was great, definitely an improvement from issue one! I like new take on Langstrom and that Alfred still has a sense of humor. What Matt said about the last page is exactly right, it's good to see little things like that thrown in every once and a while.

I enjoyed this issue much more than #1. I liked seeing a little of Man Bat's origin in this one. The mutagenic spit was a pretty cool idea. I don't think I've seen something like that before. I also enjoyed the interaction between Batman and Det Yin - I'd like to see her develop into a Gordon-esque character.

I just got around to picking up the first two issues of this series. Good stuff! Definitely thought #2 was an improvement. Looking forward to reading more of these! Have never seen the cartoon, but if it's as decent as the book, it's a no-brainer (as if wasn't already for a Batfan) to tune-in.

Once the season is over, the first season that is, what will happen to the book? Will they stop and pick it back up when the second season rolls around?

Once the season is over, the first season that is, what will happen to the book? Will they stop and pick it back up when the second season rolls around? I'm guessing that they will continue to do monthly books based on characters that we've seen in the show (as of the end of season 1) until season 2 starts. Then they'll have more characters to play with!

[shadow=green,left,300]No, what happens there is something very exciting...DC gives the crew on the book room to flesh out some stories and characters that THEY want to do, rather than having to cover what the studio mandates...now that should prove to be amazing! we'll reveal more on this when we're allowed[/shadow]
