I hope that Jeff Matsuda is able to still do covers here and there over the coming year. with production of season 4 happening, that will make his life very hectic...I love Dave McCaig and Chris Jones doing covers as well...I just want Matsuda to do at least every third issue or so!

I believe Jeff only did #1 and #15 if I'm right, I also would like to see Jeff take a chance to do another cover. Although I love the covers Chris Jones and the team have done so far, they are awesome!!!!!

Jeff Matsuda pencilled the majority of the covers, with finished art/color by Dave McCaig. The only exceptions to this are issues 10, 12, 16, and 19 which are entirely by Dave McCaig, and #13 which was penciled by myself and inked by Terry Beatty, with a redrawn smiling Catwoman mouth by some unknown DC staffer.
If I'm wrong on any of the attributions, I'd welcome the correction. The attributions on the DC solicitations have OFTEN been wrong, as I've been credited with doing more than the one I've done. (Although I'd HAPPILY do more...)

(Although I'd HAPPILY do more...) Chris Our Batman Strikes section has the cover artists listed correctly. I ignore the solicitation info..because as you said Chris, its usually incorrect. Actually -- Dave McCaig did #14 also..and I'm not sure who did #17 (riddler)...but I think it may have been McCaig. I would LOVE to see you have more of a shot at covers, Chris! For those of you that may not know, Chris gave LoG the exclusive look at each of the different cover designs that he submitted to DC for issue #13..those can be seen in our Strikes Behind the Scenes section HERE. He also gave us a look at the pencils, inks and finished versions of #13....and you can see Chris's version before that smile was put on Catwoman. You can see that in our Batman Strikes Evolution of a Cover section HERE

WOW! Those are awesome covers for #13 and the pencilled pages those are wicked sweet! I also knew for a fact you and Terry did #13's cover Chris, because it has your signature on the cover's corner lol. I also noticed #14 was by Dave McCaig, I also think Riddler's was done by Dave McCaig unless Chris knows. Oooohhh /\/\att now you made me think of #17 I can't wait for it to be out to think, we miss Riddler so much we xcan't wait to see a comic! Thanks Chris and the 'Batman Strikes Crew' !!!!! BTW Chris, do you and Terry always put your signature when you do a cover? If so it would be allot easier to figure out who does each cover. Thanks!

I always sign any covers I do, but so far that's just been the one issue of Batman Strikes. Back when I was working on Justice League Adventures, I got to do several covers. Unfortunately two of them were for issues I drew that have yet to see print, one of which was the infamous Keith Giffen written Blue Beetle/Booster Gold story.
Oddly, the last cover I did for JL Adv was for the final issue before the title became Justice League Unlimited, and was for an issue where I didn't draw the interior art. For some reason, they chose to run the artwork upside down. And it wasn't an accident, as they flipped my signature rightside up.

That is odd but, funny . I need to stop by the comic book store and look up some of your Justice League titles. I got ripped of on 'The Death of Superman' the other day I paid $20 for on in the plastic package and someone got one on Ebay for $5 I am mad at myself. Anyways, your telling me that you only did #13 cover, well I guess that means Dave Mccaig did #17 and already can tell who have done the rest of 'The Batman Strikes'. Thanks for the info Chris now I am able to tell which person did each cover
