Discuss the latest episode of 'the Batman' featuring Ragdoll HERE!
Synopsis: The Batman finds himself caught in the middle of a game of one-upmanship between master thieves Ragdoll, a triple - jointed contortionist, and Catwoman. Meanwhile, Selina Kyle, Catwoman's alter ego, eyes Bruce Wayne as a possible target for future robberies.

I really enjoyed this episode. It had so many great elements in play. The similarities between Batman and Catwoman were highlighted, along with that of Bruce and Selina. Nice to see some of their budding "relationship" happen.
Ragdoll was fantastic. Great design. Great acting. All in all, I'd love to see him again..maybe in one of those villain gang-up episodes....him and a few others vs Batman.
I give it a 9 out of 10

I enjoyed this episode alot. I loved the interaction between Bruce & Selina. It's always great seeing Bruce Wayne. Ragdoll was a great villian and I thought his entrance through the vent was hilarious, and I hope to see him again down the road. Now this is the same Rag Doll being used in Villians United right? If so I like the costume better in The Batman over the one being used in the Villians United...

They did the Bat-Cat relationship really well in this episode and I loved how Selina and Bruce met and started dating. Ragdoll was cool because you couldn't easily beat him in a fight. Well done episode.

A great episode! I loved every minute of this one. The Selina/Bruce relationship moves forward, as we see just how similar they are, and yet how different they are as well. Ragdoll was a great villain, I'd like to see him return sometime in the future. As a longtime fan of "Starman," I was pleased to see him adopted for this series. Loved the ending, too. The Clocktower setting was awesome. This was a fun caper, and without a doubt, the best Catwoman episode yet.
This episode gets a 9/10 from me.

P.S. To answer someone's question, the Ragdoll character first appeared in the pages of "Starman," back in the Golden Age. He vanished into obscurity, but was later brought back in the pages of James Robinson's "Starman" series. However, the Ragdoll who appears in Villain's United is not this character, but rather his son. Issue 3 of VU delves into this new Ragdoll's origin, and it's quite interesting.
The Ragdoll featured in The Batman has little in common with either of them beyond name and ability. Where this Ragdoll is a thief, the Ragdoll featured in "Starman" is one of the most vicious, frightening foes I've ever seen.

This was a really good episode. But I was kinda hoping that Batman and Catwoman's secret identitys would be revealed at the end. I liked Ragdoll. He is probably the freakiest villian in the show to date. They should so make an action figure of him. Wouldnt even have to give him a weapon, just atomicaly overload the figure with articulation so we could put it into all the weird positions that Ragdoll was in the show.

sidenote: Whats up with Bruce always making Alfred make nachos ? In earlier ep it showed Alfred bringing nachos to Bruce. Almost makes me wish we had seen Bruce in BTAS eating nachos.

[shadow=red,left,300]You're not alone man. [/shadow] Don't you guys have VCRs? lol Yeah, but that works about the same as me getting up early to watch it - ain't gonna happen. I NEVER have time to watch anything that I've taped. Anyone remember Stephen King's Storm of the Century mini-series that was on TV about 6 years ago? I was working nights at the time and taped it. Guess what? Still haven't watched it. I don't think I'll be any better with The Batman unfortunately.

An excellent episode. One of the best of the series.
-- This was the best Catwoman treatment yet and I very much enjoyed the whole Selina-Bruce subplot.
-- I had little hope for Ragdoll as a character but enjoyed him very much. He was very much not a Scarecrow ripoff, as feared.
-- Excellent action set pieces, especially the climactic fight in the clocktower.
All in all, a top-notch ep.

I was very pleased with this ep. It was fun, enjoyable and great!
-Ragdoll was really interesting. He gave a lighthearted fun to the atmosphere.
-The Bruce/Selina spin was fun. Maybe they're the next Brulina.
-The attention to some of selina's techniques and gadgets was pretty cool.
One of the best and just plain enjoyable. Very high mark for this ep.

I also really liked this episode, but the first 12 minutes or so were spoiled by local interference that cut the sound and picture about every three seconds...major anger at my local cable provider! By the way, I sympathize with reideen and Bullock; if I don't get up to watch the show live I miss it too, only because the timer/ recording program on my VCR has never worked properly - every time I try to tape something I get a black screen...I've never been able to figure out why.
"Ragdolls to Riches" was a well-written, fast-moving story that had a lot of great scenes between the three characters, both in and out of their alter-egos. I really liked the voice actor who portrayed Ragdoll, and the clocktower scene at the end was beautifully choreographed and lit. I hope the character returns to the series, with a grudge against the Batman and Catwoman to settle. 9 / 10 ;D

Ragdoll = Joker/Scarecrow Why even his flavor of comedic jokes was every bit the Joker even sounded like J-man. But the show bumped up the Bat/Cat relationship alot so in the next epsode they'll probably discover each other's identities. I'd give it a 6/10 becuase of the ragdoll being so much like the Joker it's not even funny(get it, not funny)
