Hey, I posted a request in the pawn shop that I'm looking for some Batman Forever Batmobile Fins and it got me thinking. I know as a kid I lost alot of the accessories for the my Batmen and Robins. But most of the time the "guns", "grapples", and "capes" were interchangable, so it was all good. But sometimes they weren't. When that happens and you end up finding an accessory do you just throw it out? Do you have a set place to put them so they can one day be reunited with their Dark Knight? Just wondering what you guys do. To this day, I still find a accessory or two in a box now and then. Well hope I'm not the only dope who looses them. Later.

Any accesories i have i keep in a bag in a draw at my modelling desk.I never know when or why i might need them.I sent some to Iron Cow recently who was looking for some,i don't mind sharing them with others if they have a use for them. Unfortunately i can't help you with the fins,i only have one of those batmobiles and it is still sealed in it's box.You can often pick up a BF Batmobile really cheap on Ebay if that helps, usually they are only missing the canopy if anything.

I usually bag mine up and write which figure they came from so this way reuniting them with the figure is a snap.

[shadow=red,left,300]I have a whole box of accesories from my Batman figs. Sadly most accesories that came with the majority of any Batfig are ridiculous, so I just toss them aside.[/shadow]

Hey everyone, I just buy extras of non-variant BTAS/TNBA figures for a loose display so most of the accessories that came with these such figures are "legit" thus being kept. There are certain accessories I don't care for like those w/ Detective Batman and Crime Fighter Robin so they either get thrown away or tossed deeply into the closet (probably becoming a spider's new home). Cheers, Frosty

well, i keep mine in a special place until i find the fig, and lose the accessories. after 3 or 4 rounds of this going back and fourth, i find both on the same day and reunite them, and then lose them both together. i find them again eventually though.

When I find loose accessories I'll set them by my collection and when I find the fig, I'll just put the fig and the accessory into the rest of the collection.

In most cases I display the figure and the accessories together.
In some cases like the Playmates Star Trek figures, they have too many of them so the extras get bagged up.
Extra Batman accessories usually get placed in a Batcave playset as part of the overall display. The Wayne Manor/Batcave has open drawers for just that.

Like I said they get thrown in a box...unless they are batarangs or grapple guns or other items that are... A- in scale with figure B- actually used by characters
Also phasers and communicators & Tri-corders from Star Trek TOS stay out. PJ
