I've mentioned this line of 45 rpm records from time to time but no one ever knew what I was talking about. Finally found a pic to share. There were also versions featuring Batman, Batmobile, Joker and, I think Penguin.

Nice find Blocko! Are the other versions just different jackets, or do they have different records inside also?
;D For the younger folk on the board, I'll explain. A record is kind of like a big CD - you had to put it on a record player (like a cd player only bigger) and set the needle (like the laser on a cd player) on the record to play it. As the record spun, the needle moved inward until, it hit the center and it was time to flip it over to hear the rest of the songs on the album.

Anyway I should say that I owned these when I was about 5 years old (1970), the pic I stumbled upon by accident. Each record featured two songs (side A and B) about the character on the jacket. There was a Batman jacket, Batmobile etc. THe artwork is great! I do remember having the Robin jacket punch stuff.

I remember seeing a pic of that before, but never took any notice in it.

I have the Batmobile record and jacket. All of these 45 jackets had beautiful artwork from Carmin Infantino and Murphy Anderson.

Looks very familiar. I may even have one tucked away somewhere.

I have the Batmobile record and jacket. All of these 45 jackets had beautiful artwork from Carmin Infantino and Murphy Anderson. Oh, Wow! That was my favorite! "The Batmobile, The Batmobile, the supersonic, electronic batmobile. There's never been a car on wheels like the (wonderful?) batmobile" Or something like that. I love that song, and the jacket art was great!

If I'm not mistaken, the great Carmine Infantino did the art for those sleeves.

I have 3 of the 5. Never bought the bad guys as a kid so 40 years later no Joker or Pengy.

Here's one I had back in 1967: I played that record so much I broke the needle of my record player (for you younger folks a record was a larger plastic disc that predates CDs)!
