7780 Batboat: Hunt for Killer Croc Click Here For GalleryThis is the second set in the LEGO Batman line, at $19.99. The Batboat is really more of a hovercraft, but it's a fun little vehicle. There are smooth "boat tiles" on the bottom of it, so you can slide it across carpet pretty well. The jets on the rear are hinged, and connected together, so they both point the same direction. Unfortunately the canopy on this set isn't hinged. I'm not sure why LEGO chose not to hinge it, because they could have simply put a small brick-hinge at the front edge similar to the Batmobile's canopy. Batman has a "bat-ski" that connects to the rear of the Batboat via a small technic axle. Croc's jet-ski can also connect to the Batboat in the same location for "capture". Killer Croc's jet-ski has two more of the technic axle "missiles" similar to the Bat-dragster. A light tap will send them flying. The front of the jet-ski is hinged, and you can hide Croc's guns benath the cowl. This set includes the gray & black Batman, and a Killer Croc figure. Croc looks a bit odd, because his face is simply printed on. He looks a little less fancy than the other villains because they all have hair or masks. This set includes a small polybag containing the weapons. Included are handcuffs, a pistol, "tommy-gun" submachine gun, 3 batarangs, and two bat-shuriken that can fit onto the tip of the pistol. This is probably my least favorite of the Batman sets, but that's not to say it's a bad set.

Thanks GA. Looks like the set has more playability then I first thought. This'll be the last of the 4 that I'll be picking up though.

This is the only set I have purchased so far, I can't say I'm all too impressed. First off the figures stink, Batman has no boots and no scallops on his gloves. Croc has black hands and as said earlier his face is just painted on, I can't say I much like the "knob" on top of his head either. The batboat and the "croc ski" aren't bad, they were actually kind of fun to assemble. I think the price on all of these sets is WAY too high for what you get ( lego is notorious for that though). So far I much prefer the C3 sets, the detail on the figures is far superior to that of lego, the price was better and I like the larger scale. Can't honestly say I'll be purchasing any more lego Batman products .
