LEGO has put these out in the UK! I hope that we get 'em here! Average cost for magnet sets like these are $10...the keychains go for around $3 - $4

Can these be played with? or are they just decorations?

The Magnets are just normal minifigs with legs glued to the body and magnets in the legs.

I was hoping Lego would release some sort of mini fig item. I really want that Joker key chain, and I could put the magnets to good use as well. Very cool, thanks for the update!

For the magnets is there any way that you can take off the legs and put in regular minifig legs?

TT the magnets page can be found HereIts listed under the site index. No Batmags yet, though. Do any parts of the magnet mini fig bodies separate? Or at least can the heads come off ?

Oh, I meant the Batman magnets, hehe.
I think the heads and headgear can be removed...

No I dont think the headgear is removable just like most of the star wars keychains ,, this stops the lego men falling off out of the headgear! they glue them!

I picked up Robin, Joker & Catwoman...which was a nice surprise because do to lack of space I don't know if I would be picking up the sets with the Robin & Joker figures...so I can add these to the sets I already have. PJ

I have a feeling that they (screws) go all the way down to the legs...At least that's what I think holds them together, because my daughter has had the Star Wars ones on her backpacks for the last 2 years and some have lost a foot or a hand over time but the bodies (legs, torso, head) have never come apart. PJ - where did you get yours? Will they be available on a wide scale basis? I got mine at the Lego store in the Paramus Park mall in NJ. They had tons of them (except for Batman)

Thanks PJ. Living in Maryland means I won't get these unless I go online. Does anyone know if these will be available on wider basis?

Is the articulation the same as on a regular minifig? 2. Do all the parts come apart except the torso/legs (are the heads removable as they would be on a regular minifig)? 3. Can the legs be attached to other bricks or do the magnets get in the way? Thanks.

Sure I can answer those questions for ya ! The articulation is the same on the three I have and they look exactly like the minifig. I am able to remove all the headgear and heads sans torso/legs. On the back of the legs are holes so they can be attached to other bricks. I also picked up an adult size Batman Lego baseball cap Hopes that help everyone
