If you were to hit the lottery what would your perfect dream collection be?

Oh, that's easy...I would buy everything that Ideal put out during the Bat Craze of 66-67, including Hasbro, Kenner, Milton Bradley, and Marx. Secondly, everything that Mego ever put out on the Caped Crusader!

Well, First and foremost I'd want a new area/rooms to display my collection in. Along with some new shelves/cabinets. As for adding something new...I'd probably get all the Mego figures and playsets I had as a kid. Along with the rest of the Mattel 6" Comic line. PJ

I think I've answered a similar question before but here goes. I'd basically want spankin' new versions of my childhood collection (plus a couple things I never had and some customs):
BatMegoMania:
Batman (Removable cowl) Robin (Probably paint-on mask, which actually looks better) Batgirl Joker Penguin Riddler Batcave Batmobile Batcycle Joker Van (maybe) (I could live without the copter and Batvan)
Then I would commission the following customs: Bruce Dick Babs Gordon Alfred A much better Catwoman Two-Face
Plus: Superman Aquaman Capt. Marvel Green Arrow Customs of Flash and Hal Jordan GL Customs of Clark Kent, Lex Luthor and Brainiac Wonder Woman (maybe)
Plus: Spider-Man, pretty much because he's the only Marvel character I really like

thats easy ........Batmobiles Drivable ones with costumes on mannequins in each car I know a company that makes the 66's 89's come up for sale now and then Batman forever, and B&R can be found (full scale maybe not drivable) some customs including the 90's one and a 50's one.

That ebay auction was removed. As for me, the perfect collection is one where I would have almost eveything I want. Almost because isn't part of the fun the hunt?

PJ I would agree w/ PJ, in that I would probably spend a lot of the money on scenery, lighting, props and other items to enhance my display room (though I have a lot of that stuff going now) - I have just about every Batman figure and vehicle released since '85, and every playset as well, so I don't think I would spend it all on the expensive older stuff, though it would be great to re-acquire some of the toys I had as an eight-year old in 1966! However, I would happily blow the money on: - The DCD Batsignal Prop
- Any BTAS/TNBA/Hush statues or maquettes, or...
- any number of the unbelievably cool custom figures (by Casimir, FaithfulButler, Iron Cow and other members of this board) that I've been outbid on on eBay...

Honestly, I'm VERY happy with my collection to date. I would keep adding, but at a slightly expedited pace. Other than that, my major focus, like many others, would be displays. I would put a lot of money into displays. A big thing I would like is to get actual store displays with shevling (like cardboard shelves that hold some bat-product) and use those in a display, integrated with the glass cases you see in antique malls.

[shadow=red,left,300]Like Matt, I too am happy with my collection so far. My dream though would be to add some more display cabinets, get a bigger room to display it all, and to add more vintage items to my collection. (Quite a bit of my collection is from early 80's on.)[/shadow]

I have some on Ebay right now whose prices are still nice and low ;D Actually i don't really know what the perfect collection for me would be anymore. My attitudes towards collecting have changed drastically in the last 12 months[some of the older LOG Members would remember why]. I am a bit like Matt,Bullock and Wayneson as in the actual displaying is more important to me these days.I have huge plans for my new Displays which i can now get to work on and i'm building all the Cabinets myself so i can achieve exactly what i want. Although my Batmobile obsession is still quite huge so as long as i have some of each in several scales i'm more than happy.
