Blue Demon Jr. beat Adam Pearce to win the NWA World Title at last night's NWA Mexico show. there was some controversary as Pearce's hand was under the rope when he was pinned. there'll probaly be a rematch.

^ nice pics. i was surprised myself that they didnt come with belts. all the other CSDAs came with belts. that Buff Bagwell is such an awesome fig. the regular CS version of him looks great too. i remember that TRU being good with having stuff in stock. i have family in New City so whenever i used to get up there to visit i'd check out that store. good pickups, thanks for sharing the pics.

here's the card for this weekend's AAA show:
- Fabi Apache & Mari Apache vs. Ayako Hamada & Cinthia Moreno - Mesias vs. Chessman - Electro Shock & Konnan vs. Octagon & Super Fly - Killer Clown, Psycho Clown, & Zombie Clown vs. El Cuervo, Escoria, & Espiritu - Cibernetico vs. El Zorro
this should be a great show.
on another note, is anyone even reading posts in this thread anymore. i seem to be the only person posting. its a shame that this thread has died down. there's a ton of stuff going on right now that i'm surprised no one is talking about. we got the Main Event Mafia in TNA, Batista's one week title reign and the reason for it, Mesias' technico turn and the Dark Family reunion in AAA, MVP being buried. guys let me know if i'm posting for naught here. Techno, do you still want the AAA cards? does anyone still want PPV results? should i bother to post the card to the ROH ppv on the 14th? would we like a wrestling figure discussion? PJ shared some great pics, i collect wrestling figures too, is that something we should discuss in this thread? if so, when are we going to get a Ted Dibiase Jr. fig and when are we going to get a Matt Sydal fig? should i even talk about the Mr. Perfect DVD and how great it is and how much i recommend it to everyone? should we talk about Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 and how awesome its going to be? what about Hiroshi Tanahashi going to TNA and jobbing to low tier wrestlers when he should be facing Sting for the title, whats that about? how about we think back and we can decide on the 10 best matches of all-time. i think that can be a great discussion. we can pull out the old tapes and dvds and scout youtube a bit and just think back and remember some of the all-time classics or recent classics.
these were the kind of things that were discussed in this thread in the past. am i wasting my time trying to get this thread going again? let me know. i'm always up to talk about anything related to wrestling.
i know the old 80 page thread probaly scared off a couple of the new members, but we Batlaw was nice enough to give us this new thread to start us off fresh again and so everyone can get in on the great discussions this thread is known for.

Why have I never heard/read anywhere that he was there??? He's been around for 10-11 years and this is the first I hear/see this!!!! he wrestled under the name Damon Striker. it was only a few times when WCW happened to be in the area where he wrestled. its like how WWE uses Joey Ryan whenever they go to California. how about we think back and we can decide on the 10 best matches of all-time. i think that can be a great discussion. I think I've said before, but since you brought it up...My fav match of all-time is Flair Vs Steamboat at the Clash in NO in '89 that was a good match, Savage/Steamboat from WM3 was great as well. i'd say at least 1 Steamboat match is in everyone's top 10 matches list. as i just watched the match again last night, Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect from Summerslam 91 was such a great match too. it wasnt the best match ever, but i'd say its top 10 US or close to the top 10. i enjoy that match alot. Flair's had alot of great matches. i really liked his match with Sting from Clash in 88 and he had that great match against Jack Brisco real early in his career, which is the match that really put him on the map in my opinion.

I kind of need to go on a rant here, but I'm sure this'll make good conversation. John Cena. I am getting so sick and tired of this guy. Mainly because everytime he comes back from an injury or something, he automatically gets a title shot. Back in 2007 when he had to vacate the title he held for 13 months because he got injured, he returns during the Royal Rumble match and wins, getting a title match! Now with Survivor Series coming up, he's returning and getting an automatic World title shot against Jericho...AGAIN! Please WWE, some of the fans are getting so sick and tired of seeing Cena either winning the title or keep getting title matches. Put him on some midcard matches for awhile for god sakes. Please tell me I'm not the only one who feels this way!

i'm glad Cena's getting the title shot and he should be winning the title. he's the top guy in the entire company. he should have the top title in the company. he hasnt had the belt in a long time. Cena vs. Jericho is a fresh match, they havent wrestled each other in a while, it will also set up the Cena/Batista rematch. i hope Cena holds the title for awhile if he wins it too.
on a similiar note, i think Edge needs to return and get a title shot and win the belt. Triple H has booked himself as champion for far too long now and its time to freshen things up. i am so sick of seeing Triple H destroying Jeff Hardy on basically a weekly basis. we need to see Edge beating Triple H for the title.
what i dont get is how you guys to say that you're sick of Cena getting title matches and holding titles, but say nothing about Triple H. Triple H has held the title for almost a year now and is in a title match every 2 weeks to a month. Cena's last title match was 7 months ago and he hasnt held a title in like 2 years. Cena has had 2 title matches 2008 and only one of those was a singles match. Triple H was also in both of those title matches. Survivor Series will just be the third title match Cena is in this year. Triple H has been in 11. if you're going to say it about Cena, you have to say it about everyone.

he should have the top title in the company. So you're saying the "World Heavyweight Championship" is a bigger title than the WWE Championship??? Boy you and I are like night & day on a lot of things, but this.....How can the WHC be a more important title? It's basically a gimmick!! It's a title that represents a company that doesn't even exist anymore!!IMO it means as much as the hard-core title or the european title or the TNA legends title...It means nothing!!! The brand extension should end, and they should unify all three championships into 1 WWE Champion...PERIOD! One thing I do agree with is what you said about HHH. I feel the same way about him that I do about Cena, but I don't expect it to change until he retires and he and Stephanie take over, so I can live with it... BTW...This is My 1000th post!!!!! ;D

Triple H has been in 11. if you're going to say it about Cena, you have to say it about everyone. Cena's a different case. The first time he won the title, he had it for about 9 months, which started the fan hostitlity toward him, and it even furthered when he won it back 3 weeks later. And his third title reign lasted over a year, and the only reason he lost it was because he got injured, who knows how he really would've held it. The point is, Cena gets the title way too much. As for Triple H, he hadn't held the title since 2005, so it's nice to see him have the belt again, even though the current belt is a disgrace to the championship and I can't believe he uses it. That's another reason I don't want Cena to win the WHC. We all know he's going to bling it up. That big gold belt has history, and it'll be insult all those who held it. It's bad enough they got rid of the old ECW World title belt. I'm getting off track though. And statistically speaking, with combined reigns, Cena has held the title longer than Triple H has. But don't get me wrong, I am dying for Hardy to win the belt, but just don't understand why it's not happening.

WWE would rather keep him with the company with no title and make money off of him, then have to fire him and see him go back to TNA. he has to prove that he can handle being a champion.

Hogan Accused Of Hiding His Assets?14 November 2008 4:09 AM, PST | From wenn.com | See recent WENN news
Former wrestler Hulk Hogan has reportedly been accused of selling his trademarks to his best friend - to stop his wife benefiting from the profits in their ongoing divorce.
The pair has been embroiled in a bitter war of words since Linda Bollea filed for divorce from Hogan - real name Terry Bollea - last November after 23 years of marriage.
And now she has accused her former partner of trying to hide assets by passing them on to his pal Eric Bischoff for a discounted price, according to TMZ.com
Linda Bollea's lawyers have filed papers at Florida's Pinellas County Court arguing over the rights to the star's many associated brands including Hollywood Hulk, Hulkster, Hulkamania, as well as his product lines such as his own brand grill and energy drink.
But Hogan's attorney, David Houston, vehemently denies the claims, telling the website, "There has been no siphoning of money - if Linda has to ask again, we'll be more than happy to provide the same answer."

for those that follow MMA, Brock Lesnar beat Randy Couture to become the new UFC Heavyweight Champion. apparently Couture is difficult to beat, so this quite the accomplishment for Brock. he apparently made gestures to Sable's stomach during his celebration which can only mean that she's pregnant. i was hoping that he'd do poorly in MMA and give it up and come back to wrestling (just because he was such a great wrestler and had such potential), but it would seem he's sticking with MMA and him winning a top title and beating a legend in the sport is huge and actually gives wrestlers more respect in MMA.

^ i like heel Hardy better than face Hardy, so hopefully they stay with this.
and All-Star is the official card and results poster for WWE and TNA ppv events. he uses the posters and colors appropiate for the wrestlers brand. he puts time into those posts and its why no one else does it. when he was away, techno and myself filled in with the results part after waiting alittle bit and we each made mention in the posts that we were filling in for All Star who was away. so there really is no reason to post the card to the ppv, as All Star always posts it. he's been doing it for so long now that we all respect that he's the one who puts the card up and puts the results up.
