I am really hoping they let Hardy win tonight. He's been working so hard all year. GIVE HIM THE TITLE! Also, if Cena wins again, I'm gonna hulk out, and not in the Hogan way. i cant see Hardy winning the title. especially since they set up this whole angle with him being beat up and left knocked out. i would assume they'll have him sell some sort of injury and i expect that the person/people that got him will involve themselves in the match tonight. i've heard what the longterm plan is and i'm actually hoping it works out because it'll be so much better than Hardy keeping the belt warm for a month.

WWE SURVIVOR SERIES 2008 RESULTS Edge def. Jeff Hardy, Triple H, and Vladimir Kozlov in a Fatal 4 way match to win the WWE Championship it wasnt a fatal 4 way. Hardy wasnt a part of the actual match. it was announced that he couldnt partake in the match so it was a one on one between Triple H & Kozlov. near the end of the match Vickie Guerrero came out and announced that she found someone to take Hardy's place in the match and Edge came out. Jeff just interfered and attacked Edge and then everyone else. and you had to know that Cena was winning. it was in Boston. he hasnt held the title in a very long time. it sets up the Cena/Batista rematch, only this time for the title. they overhyped his return. it was a lock that he was winning.

Well still, Hardy got involved in the match in some way. And so begins the next never ending championship reign of John Cena. I wonder when he'll bust out the pimped out version of the WHC, ruining another prestigous title and WWE making it the official version.

I doubt (and hope they don't) they do that. He just did it when he was feuding with Cena and mocking him.

I'm surprised they had Edge retrn like this. He got sent to 'Hell" by the Undertaker, then he just randomly comes and wins the WWE title? WTF?

^ they needed to free up Triple H, and it sets up the Edge/Jeff Hardy feud, which if everything WWE wants to happen does, will culminate with Edge/Christian Cage vs. Matt & Jeff Hardy TLC at Wrestlemania.

I think they'll drop the Cage from his name. Also, what makes you think that match'll be at WM25?

^ Cage's contract has to finish in TNA, he has to decide that he'll go to WWE, it wont occur at the Royal Rumble as they have to add Matt Hardy to the feud and do some building, they'll want Christian to wrestle a few matches first, the first TLC match with those guys was at wrestlemania, why not have their third, and first non 3 way one, be at mania. it just makes sense. which is probaly the reason the match wont happen there, but how things are set up now and the way they are going with everything and what WWE actually wants to happen there's a good chance we'll see that match at mania. basically it all comes down to Christian and when/if he signs with WWE.

That and would WWE really do two ladder based matches in one night (including the Money in the Bank one)?

^ they ran 3 gauntlet title matches where the winner is the guy with the belt after 20 minutes. they've run 2 elimination chamber matches on ppv, they can easily have money in the bank and a TLC match at mania, especially since it would be between 4 of the 6 guys who set the bar for TLC matches.

- According to Dave Meltzer, Shawn Michaels has pitched to wrestle The Undertaker at WrestleMania 25 in Houston, Texas. Obviously Undertaker would go over Michaels but the feeling is that the payoff for both Superstars would be very nice.

apparently Vince McMahon has made it official. no person involved in Hulk Hogan's celebrity wrestling show will ever work with or for WWE again. this includes Hogan, Brian Knobbs, Jimmy Hart, Eric Bischoff, Brutus Beefcake, Goldberg, & Rob Van Dam just to name a few. we'll see how long the ban sticks on Hogan.

this may be changed now due to Bruce Prichard leaking the script. and HBK was supposed to win and retire Taker, not Taker winning. it also featured a heel turn for Michaels and an eventual feud with Kane. we'll see how much they change things now since the entire storyline was leaked.

the only main thing of importance to note from Armageddon is that Jeff Hardy has won the Smackdown Title. it'll be interesting to see how long they keep the title on him.
