^ it should be noted that the Smackdown Title match was made No DQ and that Matt Hardy attacked Jeff Hardy to help Edge win the title, and it would seem that he's the one responsible for all the attacks against Jeff.
on a side note, this was supposed to be Christian Cage's story, but contract talks between he and WWE fell through again and WWE didnt want to wait any longer so they just slotted Matt into Christian's place.

^ Doomsday. you seem to misunderstand. All-Star is who posts the cards and results for WWE and TNA ppvs. he's been doing it since this thread began and its just understood that he does it, since he's been doing it forever and hasnt missed any. no one else posts that stuff because we know he will. there is no point in posting it, and i'm going to have to ask that you stop trying to take his job. while it is appreciated that we know you can be counted on to do it if All-Star stops, he is still posting those cards and results and we are grateful that he does.
if he decides to pass that role onto you, then so be it, but until he does that, and posts it here, its still something that he does. so please stop trying to out do him and post it before him, its not necessary. thank you.

^ yep, but nothing will come from it. its like when that fan jumped the guardrail and ran in the ring and grabbed Hogan's leg a few years back and Hogan beat the hell outta him. the guy tried to press charges and sue, but ended up arrested himself for jumping the guardrail and initiating contact.

Well Jericho was technically defending himself, so charges shouldnt be pressed. Though I found it odd that at first the fan was attacking his car and Jericho GOT OUT of the car. either that was stupid, or Y2J was lookin for a fight.

Is it just me...
Or does the Championship really mean nothing any more. Theres 2 seperate champions. Because of that and storylines not running as long as they used to, people are becoming 8x or more champs over the coarse of just a few years. Its getting ridiculous. They can't seem to decide if the ECW title is equal to the WWE and World or to the IC and US.
I wish they'd merge the titles again and go back to the rules set out during the 1st draft. One set of champs that go on both shows. Heck!! With as much bouncing around as everyone does on these shows, whats the use of the draft anymore ? Theres no use to it anymore.

You'd think after 8 years of the same thing that they would do something diffrent!! As far as the ECW title being the same as the US & IC title, that's how I see it as well. Same for the WHC, that title means absolutely nothing, in my opinion. To make WM 25 that much bigger, they should have a triple threat match to unify the titles and unification matches for all the other titles as well. Women's champ Vs Divas champ, IC title Vs US title(winner should be undisputed IC champ) and WTTC Vs WWE TTC(Winner undisputed WWE Tagteam champs)

^ they wont have just one title. they have too many guys working for the company. the reason they split things was so that all the top guys and people getting pushed, as well as midcarders could get tv time. if everything is merged together than you get three shows of just the top guys and no one would ever be elevated. it puts up a cement ceiling that cant be broken. ECW is for the dev talent thats on the way up and its a chance for WWE to evaluate them better and it lets them see who can be bumped up to Raw or Smackdown eventually. the reason they split things was because too many guys became main eventers, before the current main eventers had left or retired. as long as things continue this way, nothing will change.
and personally, i dont want to see just Cena, Edge, Jericho, Orton, Triple H, HBK, etc. on all 3 shows every single week and only see those guys. guys like Jamie Noble, Paul Birchall, DJ Gabriel, Carlito & Primo, Jack Swagger, etc would never be on tv if everything was merged together. those guys wont go back to developmental, so they would ask for release and TNA would grab up half of them and WWE's product would get very stale, very quickly.

the "World Heavyweight Championship"...
Is WWE trying to pass this belt off as the championship of ALL of wrestling ? Just seems like that. And on wikipedia they say that WWE has somewhat tried to pass off the idea that it is decendant of the NWA and WCW titles. Seems kinda pretentious to say you have THE belt in all wrestling. But at the same time Mcmahon is the emperor of atleast western hemisphere wrestling.

^ every company has a World Heavyweight Championship. and the Raw and Smackdown Titles are the top 2 titles on the planet. NOAH's GHC title is third, followed by NJPW's IWGP title, followed by TNA's title. those are the top 5 heavyweight titles on the planet.

^ i actually like the ECW title. its basically a test title. it lets WWE see how a wrestler will handle a real title, and its a way for them to reward their veterans who wont get a real title. Hardy gave it nice prestige, and Swagger and Cage feuding over it also gives it some additional credibility. but all in all its basically at the same level as the US and IC titles, just defended a whole lot more.

Well its just ECW itself that has a real problem. I remember watching the original ECW with Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, etc. Now its a breeding ground for rookies who i'll never figure out how they managed to squeeze themselves into the WWE, and for stale superstars who used to entertain everyone whilst being on RAW and SD. Anyways, a couple of matches have been expected to be at the 25th anniversary of Wrestlemania, such as:
- Hulk Hogan vs. John Cena
- Triple H vs. Randy Orton (WWE Championship Match)
- Edge vs. Big Show (WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match)
- Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker
- Chris Jericho vs. Mickey Rourke
- Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy

^ you're way off on a few those. Mickey Rourke himself said that he pulled out of WM and he said that he never intended on wrestling at the show. stop listening to Meltzer too, he just posts his opinions. thats where the whole Edge/Big Show thing came from. its 50/50 on who Edge faces. Big Show or Cena, though its most likely going to be Cena or it'll be a 3-way. the Hogan rumors started after Rourke pulled out as a replacement for him to face Jericho. Hogan/Jericho is more likely than Hogan/Cena.

and now for a Hogan update. he stated himself in a recent interview that he will not be appearing at WM25. To go in detail: Hulk Hogan appeared on good friend Bubba the Love Sponge's radio show this morning to discuss rumors of a possible appearance at WrestleMania 25. Hogan said he spoke to Vince McMahon this past Sunday.
It would appear that the two discussed plans of an appearance at WrestleMania as Hogan said he was willing to donate his payoff for the event to the family of John Graziano. However, Hogan said they were unable to agree on a specific scenario for him at the event, but McMahon is open to doing something with him in the future. Right.

-WWE officials are planting a number red herrings in order to keep their creative plans a mystery to Internet wrestling fans. The word backstage is that almost anything could be planted. This is also being done to discover the individuals within the company leaking confidential information to the people behind wrestling news websites.
As of late, WWE head Vince McMahon has grown increasingly upset over the number of backstage news leaks finding its way onto the Internet. More so than ever before, there is a bigger company directive on stopping Internet leaks. McMahon is actually said to be "obsessed" with stopping stories from leaking out of his company and officials underneath him have made that fact very clear to everyone.
