[shadow=red,left,300]I think it sounds like a cool idea! I always enjoyed Danny Elfmen's score![/shadow]

Actually, he only wrote the theme. The rest is mostly Sherley Walker's work.

I received this in the mail last night.
I really want to encourage you to buy this: a great selection of 11 episode scores; a 14 minute overture of character themes (Batman, Man-Bat, The Joker, Charlie Collins, Batgirl, Mr Freeze, Olympus/Zeus, The Penguin, Clayface, Harley Quinn, Sid The Squid); 16 pages of liner notes (including Paul Dini & Danny Elfman); a 7 minute interview with Shirley Walker playing her Batman theme at a piano.
The team that put this album together clearly worked hard to get this album right. I look forward to a second volume. Please buy this.

Wow! This soundtrack is something I've been waiting for since BTAS debuted in 1992. It's absolutely wonderful. The Overture was great - and what a surprise to hear fantastic themes like the ethereal and sad Mr. Freeze music box melody, and the thundering Maxie Zeus music with its Olympian timpani and horns!
It was stunning listening to crystal clear music from Joker's Favor, Christmas With the Joker, Two-Face 1 & 2, Perchance To Dream, and Birds of a Feather. Everything on this two-disc set is marvelous stuff, and I encourage any fan of the show's music to pick up this soundtrack. The liner notes were excellent as well. I certainly hope La La Land releases more of these BTAS soundtracks.

A little bit to pricey for me right now... Why don't they think people will buy it?

There isn't exactly a huge audience for a two-disc soundtrack of a cartoon that has been off the air for 13 years or so, lol. Its really a treat for us hardcore fans.
