To my shock, I found that Hot Wheels has released a new line of Batmobiles. They are 1:50 scale and sold at my local Wal-Mart for $6.97 each. The complete line was out, and included the Animated Batmobile, a comic style Batmobile, The Dark Knight Batmobile, the '66 TV series Batmobile, and the '66 TV series Batcycle. I bought the '66 Batmobile, which I have pics of. They are really cool cars. I can't seem to get the pics posted here, so the link below will take you to one... s449.photobucket.com/albums/qq211/jrs1980/?action=view¤t=PICT0001Small.jpg

These have been out for a year now. My Wal Mart now has them marked down to 3.00 for clearance as the new 2009 wave is about to hit.

Wow! I can't believe they have been out that long, and that my local Wal-Mart just released them. Yeah, they were out, but became rather hard to find, at least in my region. A lot of times at year end stores go through their backstock and put out what they have still sitting there, to make way for the new spring product that will be coming..so we collectors can benefit.

My local Super Wal-Mart usually carries the first wave of a DC toy line, then they disappear. They carried the first two waves of DC Super Heroes figures, the first wave of Batman Begins figures, the first wave of Dark Knight figures and some The Batman EXP figures way back when. I have not seen the DC Universe lines, animated or comic style classics. The Mission Masters line has already been replaced with Ben 10 figures. I guess the demand in this area isn't that great, even though the figures fly off the shelves when they arrive.

Yes they've been out for a while now. I think that last years SDCC had a TV show Batgirl cycle as an exclusive.
