[shadow=blue,left,300]This is the movie I have been waiting for since It was first announced. Since I am a huge James Cameron fan, I decided that a movie this amazing deserves a thread of its own.[/shadow] [shadow=blue,left,300]And here is a link for the trailer. Watching it in HD does it justice![/shadow] www.apple.com/trailers/fox/avatar/[shadow=blue,left,300]But what do you guys think? Do you think it is over hyped? Do you think it looks like a stupid video game trailer? Or do you think it looks amazing? Post away![/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,300]First off, I’m a huge James Cameron fan. He’s done some of my favorite movies of all time! (plus he's Canadian! ;D) But I am a little disappointed. It looks very video gamey and the Na'vi look like cartoon characters. I was hoping for something a little more spectacular. But since it is kind of a teaser trailer, I will remain optimistic. Cameron has never let me down before. And I would watch anything with Michelle Rodriguez ![/shadow]

Just got pack from the theater! Avatar is amazing!
I had so much fun! The 3-D was so realistic and breath taking I almost forgot I was in a movie theater! I say go see it or you will be missing out on a fantastic movie-going experience.
I know people are bashing this movie because the story isn't unique. Don't listen to them, people like to forget that since that stories were an advanced civilization has prayed on the weaker have actually happened throughout history. So to me that argument is pointless. So for that matter name one live action movie that was 100% original that came out this year, and please don't mention one, that was inspired by a book or comic book!

[shadow=red,left,300]I second that, Avatar was actually a good movie. I do have a few small grips about the movie, but all and all it was a very solid movie with a good story line. But it was the incredible visuals and brilliant use of the 3-D technology that made this movie.
My only hope is that some where Bay is taking notes! Who knows maybe in ten or twelve years Bay could also make an amazing movie.[/shadow]
