Ok, so the film comes out next Tuesday. This will be our official discussion thread for the film.
The feature is only slightly over an hour long. I'll post up more details later, such as every character that I noted as in it, but it was really uninspirting overall. It wasn't bad...just nothing special, in my opinion.
Kevin Conroy was spot-on as usual. His Batman was flawless.
Clancy Brown, on the other hand, was hit and miss with Lex. The growly Lex that we're used to came out, but only 60% of the time.
Tim Daly was fine as Superman, albeit a bit dry.
Characters from the bat-universe, such as Bane and Mr. Freeze didn't have speaking roles. That was disappointing. The only character from the bat-universe to speak was Alfred, who made a brief cameo. The Joker was mentioned by name once, but never shown.
Regardless of the soruce material, it is my opinion that they should have placed more bat-villains in there and honestly a wider range of villains in general. They didn't show that many.
UPDATE
Nightshade Lady Shiva Grundy Mongol Killer Frost Mr Freeze Capt Cold Grodd Banshee Copperhead Deadshot Black Manta Cheetah Bane Giganta Chemo
Captain Marvel Hawkman Capt Atom Powergirl Black Lightning Starfire Major Katana
Alfred Amanda Waller Lex Luthor

Watched it last night. Fun and enjoyable, but nothing memorable or really engaging. Found much to be clunky and inconsistant. Just an hour long popcorn fight scene. I didn't get the impression they were shooting for anything more than that.

I picked up the Best Buy Superman/Batman Public Enemies DVD today and the promo figure is a DCD figure. It says it on the box and base of the figure. It's just like the New Frontier Green Lantern and Batman vs Dracula figures were. He's just a new sculpt (like Bats & Dracula were) and not a scaled down figure like the new Frontier figure was. Here's some pics- Scale Pic- Also the bottom of the base/stand says ... "DC Comics Made in China DCD" And the Batman does come off the base easy enough. It's only held on by a drop of glue on each foot. I've taken all four of the DCD movie promo figures (Batman, The Batman, The batman Dracula, New Frontier Hal)off their bases. And like I said over at the other sites I like the figure, but I'd like it so much more if the cape was more over the shoulders and his arms/hands were posed differently. The way the hands are now it looks like he's about to dive into a pool or something. Hell, if he was posed in a pose like the old BTAS McDonalds I'd be much happier with him...And that figure only has 1 more POA than this one (And I love that figure) In a perfect world for me on a figure this small he'd have ball jointed shoulders, elbows, t-crotch hips and knees joints, but DCD can't get that right on a 6" figure so I don't even dare to think about it on a 2-3" figure. Too many of my DCD figures have had their knee pins break and buckled at the knees from supporting their own weight on the shelves. To list a few - HTH GA, HTH GL, Hush Batman, Hush Nightwing, Hush Poison Ivy, GL series 1 Hal, Modern Superman (first), SA Superman (boxed set)

I really liked the movie. Alot of fighting, a good story, character cameos galore. I really did enjoy this movie. I'll watch it again eventually.
It was hard to remember while watching that this movie doesn't take place in the Timmverse due to all the same voice actors. Probably wouldn't take much to make it Timmverse, but I dream. It was really good to hear Conroy, Daly, and Brown again. (Although I have to wonder if Conroy is getting really sick of being Batman.) This movie also might have pushed me over the edge into getting the JLU Amanda Waller 3pack... if it ever goes on sale. She was really ugly in this movie, but the Lex hitting on her stuff I did not see coming. I love how it tied all whats going on now into the movie and gave a reason for the stuff in the movie to be happening. Cameos galore. I love that in anything. I love how all the pre-release stuff kinda made a big deal out of Levar Burton being Black Lightning... Yet he only had, what!, 1 line in the whole movie. The Bats as Hawks and Supes as Shazam scene was really cool. Now why didn't Metallo come up on video tape again ? Major Glory was pretty cool. I actually enjoyed Power Girl to. First time to ever see her in action. I kinda think the ending was a little convenient though. This little robot takes out a meteorite the size of a small country, yet doesn't completely destroy itself in the process. Also Batman's little control pod was strong enough to withstand what probably was atleast a few 100 atomic bombs worth of force and radiation. I know its just a Batman/Superman cartoon movie but still. Don't understand why Starfire would join the gov though. Shouldn't she be with the Titans ? Did the opening title sequence remind anyone of the Lynda Carter Wonder Woman show?
I found this a highly enjoyable movie. DrGreenEvil

What the heck? Mongul doesn't have heat vision and Black Lightning can't fly.
I am glad CCH Pounder reprised her role as Amanda Waller.
And DrGreenEvil, I think you mean Major Force.

I really liked this. Brown, Conroy, and Daly all back made it even better. Now why didn't Metallo come up on video tape again ? In a recent interview, Conroy said he would voice Batman whenever he had the chance. Which is good news for all of us. I think Lex was right about Kryptonite affects psychologically, but it wasn't Superman who had those problems. You mean when they were showing the footage on the news? When Supes blew up the limo, a piece of it flew and hit the camera.
