DC Preview: Batman #688 - Bagley & Batman www.newsarama.com/php/multimedia/album.php?aid=29196Well Bagley may be the best Spidey artist, but so far it looks like I'll need to get used to him on Batman. I don't like how Dick is smiling; I know he's supposed to be lighter, but it just doesn't seem Batman. I'm very curious to what the future holds from that opening.

Bagley is all set to become my 2nd favorite Bat artist ever; that's almost as awesome as Jim Aparo's work

Tony Daniel Replaces Winick, Bags on Batman www.newsarama.com/comics/07097-Batman-Daniel.htmlPersonally, I think this should be good. Daniel has a good feel for the character and he's a great artist. Well I guess we know who's attacking Dick in that preview. And I'd really like to see how Dick will interact with Catwoman. She doesn't know who the new Batman is yet doesn't she?

Hm... part of me wants to get the latest Batman one. If I were in America, I would already have gotten B&R #2 and RR#2. I want to see more of Dick as Batman, and this seems to display the more radical changes, as well as the established characters reacting to a new Batman. I guess I should read some reviews. I haven't heard the best things about Tony Daniel's writing. We will see.

strange, when I picked up Bagley's Batman, something about it disappointed me, something I can't put my finger on. I just know the next issue will remedy that

^ its a good interview but from it its very easy to gauge that Winnick has completely forgotten Face The Face or just never read it. Two-Face knows that Bruce is Batman. learning that can kind of clue you in to who the rest of the bat family are, especially with his long history with Dick and especially since Two-Face was clued in that Batman, Nightwing, and Robin were all leaving for the year. Two-Face is also a very smart guy. gotta love when you learn that the writer of the book doesnt actually read the book he's writing.

that Batgirl cover is far more intriguing. her fighting mutants. could that be a giveaway that she's the New Earth version of Carrie Kelly?

i was just guessing based on that cover. the mutants have yet to appear outside of Earth-31. i'm actually hoping they are in the issue and the cover isnt just a tease to draw sales. i'd much rather have a Batwoman solo book than this. i know Detective Comics has basically become Batwoman's book, but that wont last forever. she is a far better character than Stephanie. i also am against Stephanie because i hate how she was brought back. they did it poorly and it takes away from War Games and completely goes against War Crimes. it basically made Batman wrong, which he never is, so it was a big problem for me.
