[shadow=red,left,300]Look who might be getting there own tv-series![/shadow] [shadow=red,left,300]DC writer Geoff Johns dropped this message on his tweeter account;[/shadow] BLUE BEETLE NEWS from DCE!! We have a live-action test of Jaime Reyes’ scarab activating his suit. It. Is. Awesome… we’re hoping to develop a live-action show. Fingers crossed! Link; twitter.com/geoffjohns0[shadow=red,left,300]This is exciting news because it seems as though DC is trying to make a brand of their lesser known heroes. Something Disney will try with Marvel. So what do you guys think? Would a Blue Beetle tv-series work?If so, who should they cast and what charactors should they use?If not what other DC charactor should they bring to the small screen?[/shadow]

If it's anything like Smallvile, I am not watching.
A while ago I read an article where Matthew Vaughn (I think it was Vaughn, I don't remember anymore.) said he would like to adapt Neil Gaiman's Sandman for HBO. I personally would rather see that over a Blue Beetle series.

This could be good. Jaime Reyes makes sense as a character DC should be getting kids interested in. He's already a big character in BTBATB. I wouldn't be surprised if his comic gets relaunched to try to best utilize the character. I think they can do a lot here. I think because Jaime is a younger character too, it will make him more accessible to children.

I can see myself watching this, to bad it's going to probably end up being a series for the CW.
Seriously, the only shows that are good on the CW are Supernatural and Life Unexpected. And that's not even saying much!

Good thing that's not the final look, because that looks a really tacky looking Power Ranger or Kamen Rider.I can see myself watching this, to bad it's going to probably end up being a series for the CW. Seriously, the only shows that are good on the CW are Supernatural and Life Unexpected. And that's not even saying much! Yeah, Life Unexpected is the only show I watch on the CW (Not a big fan of Supernatural anymore.)
But the Network is showing signs of improving. The new Nikita doesn't look that bad and the possible mid-season show; Nomads is sounding pretty awesome.
