The JLU figs should be hitting comic shops this week. Does anyone know which figs are in this case assortment?

Hmmm, I should have been more specific. Can we assume that the Atom part of this first asst. And, is there any chance of GA being in it also?

All that I've seen is that they're the single pack figures. That could be BD Supes, Flash, Gasmask Batman, Techno bearded GL, Invisible MM, Hawkgirl and Atom, or it could be more. The case price is $83.88, which (if you account for the comic shop mark up) if priced at $6.00 each, would mean there are about 14 figs per case.

What a crock! I swung by my comic shop on my lunch hour, hoping to see an Atom figure. Well, I found them - they hadn't sold a single figure. Maybe it's because they had them priced at - wait for it -
Do they not know that TRU is selling the exact same figures for $4.99 each? WTF? Talk about a dumb move on their part. Personally, I don't understand why a comic store would try to compete with TRU when the price is that low to begin with. Comic shops should have stayed away from this deal, since the best they could realistically try to do is break even. Heck, I could see pricing them at $8.00, since their cost is about $6.99-ish, but to double the price to make a profit? Especially when their price is 3 times that of the same figure at TRU is just a bad business decision.

What a crock! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!! That is downright criminal! That is why I am beginning to ween away from comic shops all together. Scumbags like that give our hobby a bad name.

I agree - that's why I never buy toys there. I'm even waiting to buy my Minimates elsewhere now. I'd switch to online comic orders too, but my purchases are too erratic for that. Did you point that out to them at all Reid? I have in the past. My forehead is bloody and bruised from banging my head against a brick wall of cluelessness. All they're concerned with is making a profit. They'd make more of a profit if they purchased them from TRU at $4.99 each and resold them at $8.00 each - because they might get some sales that way. As it is, they'll sit on the shelf and collect dust forever. I suppose some people will pick up the Atom fig, but that's all I can see selling. BTW, the Atom comes with a nice mini-Atom. (So you can recreate the scene where he rides inside of WW's top - if you have the WW 10" figure! ;D)

I paid $10. Cad for the Atom. Probably about a buck higher than TRU will charge for it, but I haven't seen any JLU figs at the chains yet. From what I've read Wal-Mart is passing on 'em for the moment and TRU here...well you never know up here. Now all I want is a GA and I'll be happy.

From what I've read Wal-Mart is passing on 'em for the moment That's correct. I don't know who Walmart's toy buyers are but they really don't know their boys products very well. First they passed on Titans and had to play catch up, now this.
