As we all know I'm sure, the future is bleak for our beloved JLU. For no real logical reason, the odds of us getting another season (#6) are at best minimal. Now, supposedly so are our chances for a sixth season of Teen Titans!? (makes even less sense).
Maybe I'm just old fashioned but I follow the belief of: "if it aint broke, dont fix it"!.
I wouldnt say its impossible for another season of Titans and personally I hope we do!~
JLU is another beast all together. Hell, I would be happy at this point just to see the rest of this dang season! lol. IMO, I think we wouldve heard something official by this time if either (mainly JLU) has been continued?

Apparently the Official word today is Teen Titans is formally cancelled. There will be no sixth season. At this time no formal explination has been given for the cancelation. Fans are still encouraged to send in their letters of dismay regardless of how futile at this time. I would also like to add/request we take this oportunity to include in such letters our two-cents regarding JLU!! There just might be a sliver of hope?

Man!!! Soon no JLU and not even Teen Titans. They best start making new THE BATMAN eps, or I best start watching Smallville. ( James Marsters as Braniac just sounds so freakin awesome that I might actually start watching.) I am so DC biased that tv is gonna suck if there arent that many DC shows on. Im sorry but im not that interested in the new LEGION OF SUPERHEROES thats in production, and the new Aquaman show(based on the casting call releases) in my opinion just sounds like crap.

Not the Titans! They didn't even finish this season yet! But on the bright side, we now may get a chance to see Robin on THE BATMAN now! If we get a Season 4 that is. But JLU, WHAT ABOUT JLU?! What are we going to do without DC Cartoons?

All good things must come to an end, I suppose. This has been a really fun show, especially the last couple of seasons.
I guess that unless it's The Simpsons, which is geared toward adults in prime time, most animated series aren't going to get past four or five seasons. It makes sense, in a way, but it is too bad.

Does any of this have anything to do with that Sam Register thing from a while back? It's sad because CN seems have abandoned some really good animated shows for anime like bobobobobo and some other odd shows like that. They don't necessarily have to rerun the current JLU episodes, they could run some older seasons as well...especially since WB isn't really releasing the seasons on DVD.

Hey Banzai, JL season sets should be on the way in 2006! As far as CN's motivations, decisions and rationale goes? trying to make any sense out of it is about as futile as trying to nail jello to a wall. I have no idea about re-runs? If they havnt chosen to rerun anything since the begining, I dont see any reason for them to suddenly sprout grey matter now?
Although Dwayne McDuffie has *denied the supposed past statements by Register, I personally believe there to be at least "some" truth to those rumors. McDuffie's responses to such "insider" details are always short, slightly vague and very "reserved" or "guarded" (which is pretty common accross the board in entertainment) but IMHO there is no denying the obvious.

I think I know the reason for the Titans cancellation: Those three little kids they had on a few weeks ago. WHO THE HELL'S IDEA WAS IT TO HAVE THIS EPISODE? WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THIS?

I need to comment again on how sad this news is...and how much I hope that JLU can last at least one more season. The show is the last we have of the Timm universe, and its a staple in our fandom...not to mention a very well written and animated program.

I watched TT very casually but I liked the Slade character, wasn't there some mystery surrounding his identity? Was that ever resolved?

Not the exact same Robin but at least they're bringing him back to one show for the next season

I dont think anyone knows Slade's true identity of this moment (from TT that is) I dont have CN anymore so I wouldnt know what was going on.

I think that he turned out to be a skeleton or something
But why? Why Teen Titans? *sobs over Beastboy's broken body* You were the soul of my insperation to be funny until I found Joker, and I'll never forget that *hugs BB* Seriously, I'm not that sad, but I love the character of Beastboy so much. Arrogent, young, kinda like me. Well, I'm going to see if TT can hold out until season ten if we can! *runs off to e-mail like crazy, since her letters won't reach CN in time* If they try to take off JLU, I think fans are going to kill everyone and everything at CN

*lol* Ah. That's so true
But still, what joy would it bring me if I could just get the guy(s) who make all the bad ideas/suggestions/moves at CN, and then hit them where the sun don't shine with a 3 iron
Yes, that's right. On the toes! *laughs evilly* Or most likely, on the head

That's too bad to hear that TT was officially cancelled, I watched the show here and there, and as mentioned by I think BatDan it was in a tough time slot 8-9PM and if it's not adult and geared towards Adults like The Simpsons or The Family Guy it won't do that well.
Overall the show was great fun, and helped make Puffy AmiYumi really big and got them there own show...
Maybe someday we will see The Teen Titans again
