I believe anyone who can play Bats could also play Two-Face because they both have that schezoid thing goin' I honestly think Tommy lee Jones had Two-face figured out but ?Schumacher? wouldn't let him flesh him out so much. You caught a glimpse of it in the scene where he died.He showed a bit of a Harvey Dent through and held back on Twos.

NO I meant Adam Sandler is Jewish so he has the angst but with Dent being a D.A. he would be split down the middle, literally, about how to handle a situation.I was watching tv last night and saw someone who would be great for two-face but now i cant remember who.and the other hand Michael Vartan(vaughn on alias) who be awesome as the calm collective business rival Riddler.

vosloo(mummy, darkman) is twelve years older than bale so that would make him at the beginning of dents career as DA when Bats gets started perfect timing and he could play dent calm collective when hes in lawyer mode thet calm cold when hes twos.glover can be down right creepy they way the Joker should be.DOn't ya agree?

i was thinking of Darkman.i liked the movie but seemed like a rip-off of Batman story. If there was a solomon grundy it could be well done by jean reno.i think though for c.nolans realistic villian the best chioce would be the ventriloquist and scarface played by bob newhart,eh?

Dennis Franz should play a corrupt cop , I think.
Vosloo reminds me of Mr. Freeze somehow.

I think Tim Curry would make an excellent Joker for second movie.
Like the idea of Chistina Ricci as Catwoman.
Clayface would make a superb visual villain.
Bane done with the comics characterization would fit with Nolan's take.
Black Mask would be an interesting foe as well.

IMHO , Nolan seems to want to rewrite the Batman saga as events that could happen in our reality.Batman is after all just a man in body armour with a lot of money and the time to do what most of us might do to fight injustice in our world... . Joker,if he appears, would probably be re-thought all the way back to his origins... If Nolan gets to continue his franchise then we probably won't see the likes of Killer Croc,Solomon Grundy,Joker(as we know and love him) or Mr. Freeze.so i think the next villian will be one of the gang bosses or Riddler. Honestly, regardless of whatever approach Nolan is taking ont he new franchise I don't think it would be wise to toy too much with one of the most beloved characters in the Batman canon. The Joker as we know him is one of THE most recognizable icons in comic book history. There'd be huge fan backlash if he were changed too drastically.

in my opinion, take the old villians( joker, penguin, catwoman, ivy,two faces, riddler and Mr freeze) in another movie would be a bad idea i really want to see two faces and poison ivy in a TRUE serious style, but i think the movie need to show NEW villians i think Harley Quinn, the mad hatter , clay face and man bat sounds really good and maybe scarface too.....hes one of the most bizarre characters

They'll definetly go with villains that they can show in reality, I mean thats what is different with this batman from the others, right? So they'll probably go more towards villains like hoker, Two-face, hell, even riddler or Scarface

There's no way that's happening. Trust me. Anyways, here's my contribution... The Joker: Adrien Brody He can play a psycho, as seen in Oxygen. You can see the trailer here at videodetective.com/home.asp?PublishedID=504513 or www.imdb.com/title/tt0160620/trailersHe definitely has the look. In The Village, he lets out this Mark Hamill-like laugh. This would be a great chance for him to branch out into roles other than the quiet, reserved characters he's played in films like The Pianist. Physically, he'd be a great match against Bale's Batman. He's around the same height and has the right build for Joker, IMO. Harvey Dent/Two-Face: Rufus Sewell or Clive Owen Rufus Sewell is my number one choice for Dent. Lookswise, I think he's perfect. Young-looking, handsome, yet he's got that dark look as if he's on the edge, as if he's gonna snap if you tell him something bad's going to happen. He also is closest actor that looks like Tim Sale's Harvey Dent (although the rumored Liev Schreiber also looks close, but not as close as Rufus because of his hair and nose). He can play heroes (Dark City) and villains (The Legend of Zorro would be a good oppurtunity for you guys to check him out). Clive Owen is my second choice. He's got similar qualities to Rufus, with that same dark look that I think is essential to Harvey Dent. The Penguin: Bob Hoskins After seeing him in Unleashed, I have no doubt that he'd rock in the role and bring a good mobster vibe to it (that is, if they go for a different interpretation of it than Burton's). The Riddler: Hugh Laurie Popular choices that I've read for the role are Jude Law and Edward Norton. I just can't see Ed play Riddler and Jude is a bit young compared to how I see Nigma. My choice is Hugh Laurie from the hit medical show, House. He's a British actor with a great (fake) American accent. On House, he's got this "I'm smarter than you" attitude that works perfectly. And he can be evil. There was this one episode where he completely shocks you in how he treats a patient (the Season Finale actually where he plunges a syringe into the patient's lower stomach just to get into the bladder and get a urine sample). Have him shave and put him in the classic question mark suit (No spandex leotard please) and you've got the perfect Riddler, IMO. Mr. Freeze: Peter Weller If the name isn't familiar to you....RoboCop. The original one. Robocop showed that he can play someone who is confined to a cold, nearly robotic humanity because of a violent tragedy that befalls upon him. I think he'd be a great live action Mr. Freeze. Bane: The Rock Seriously, he's actually a decent actor. I know a lot of celebrities who start somewhere, become popular, and then go into Hollywood and fall flat, but The Rock isn't one of them. He's in great shape, is bigger than Bale, and could pass for a Hispanic. Btw, here's my interpretation for the new Bane: Ra's Al Ghul's right hand man for a sequel. Seriously, is the character of Ubu really that interesting? Even in his first appearance, he was a generic, almost mindless thug who couldn't do anything on his own without orders from Ra's Al Ghul. Instead, I say that Ra's Al Ghul's right hand man is Bane. The whole prison background thing could've been an experiment by Ra's to see how the Venom would work. Bane, as a young child, was able to support the Venom and Ra's "rescued" him from the prison and raised himto become some form of an heir. He names him Bane as in the "bane of humanity" (yeah, that may be right from B&R, but it's so Ra's-like to name someone like that). Anyways, Bane becomes one smart, bad@$$ mofo, thanks to his training with Ra's. The Venom could simply be a natural steroid that Bane doses regularly (instead of all that tubing stuff). When he grows older, he basically is in charge of Ra's's base in the desert as Ra's stays at the monastery for the setting of BB. Ra's then sees that Bruce Wayne's probably a better heir, but keeps that to himself. The events of BB occur, etc, etc, etc... Okay, sequel. Ra's returns in Batman's life. Batman goes to Ra's's desert base and meets Bane. Ra's clearly favors Batman to be his heir since he is the only foe to have defeated him (I mean, I assume Ra's loses in BB 'cause the hero ALWAYS wins, doesn't he?), Bane himself wants to be the heir to the Demon's Head and you could even possibly throw in a love triangle with Talia in here too. The irony here is that Bane wants something that Ra's will not let him have and Batman rejects something that Ra's wants him to have. Towards the end, Bane and Batman have to fight so that Batman can stop Ra's. Batman succeeds only because he tells Bane of his real background and that the prison life that traumatized Bane was instituted by Ra's himself. Bane then breaks off from Ra's and goes off on his own somewhere (presumably hiding in Gotham), yet still resents the Batman (thus possibly setting up a Knightfall-like sequel or whatever the next films choose to do with him).

I like it. Sounds like a good story to tell, with some depth of character development, action, romance and epic scope.

Thank you. I think that it would be a great addition to the Ra's-Batman story in the BB universe. Considering that Joker's set for part II and Two-Face for part III....I'm rooting for the return of Ra's in part IV with, hopefully, Talia and Bane. It could also potentially fill in any holes that BB may have regarding Ra's. I'm hoping for some cameos of Penguin and Scarecrow to pop up in parts II and III.

I would like to see one of the films take on a sci-fi, horror type feel, (X-Files style) and they could use Killer Croc and The Man Bat. To really make this work they could bring in X-Files Creator Chris Carter for advise/consultant to really make it work. For Killer Croc, I might use somebody that is used to being Green and that is perhaps Lou Ferigno, the man is still in great shape. And of course with Man Bat you might have to have two actors play him or perhaps CGI Man Bat and have a well qualified actor play Dr. Langstrom, perhaps Adrian Brody or Johnny Depp. And if you didn't want to CGI Man Bat use Ron Perlman, he is great in those roles.

OK. Joker. Jennifer Tilly or Fairuza Balk as Harley Quinn. Ron Perlman as Killer Croc. Angelina Jolie as Catwoman. That's my wish list. Not that it matters much. Have they announced who'll play Joker yet? My wish list has Crispin Glover (George McFly) playing the role. The whole movie would start with the Red Hood sequence when Joker is created and it would be a dream and after the dream sequence there would be a shot of just the Joker's eyes turning from sadness...to menacing... I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!
