Best ten minutes of TV EVER! Man. I really like the new DC logo they played in the front. So awsome. Got me amped up and then! WOW! This makes me that much more excited to see it.
But some things I found a bit annoying: Michael Caine does a fine job as Alfred but at times I find that he tends to talk rather quickly. Batman's voice sound a little raspier (like a villain) then I imagined.
But al in all, very cool

This will be the definitive Batman on film by which all other incarnations will be measured! The casting is unbelievable Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman...Amazing! Bale is Batman. His line about being a symbol that is incorruptable...Brilliant! The is the true essence of the character, not just some director's take on him. This blows EVERYTHING else away! Long Live the BAT!...................................................................*ahem* looks pretty good to me, I'll probably see it.

I love smallville. Get it out in the open now. BUT i couldn't help but to check the clock every so often and watched the minutes tick away until BB 10 minutes came on. I've read the script (the supposed script leaked online) and i loved it when reading it, then i saw the ten minutes and realized that it was exactly line by line from the script. But it was by far superior to all of my expectations. There are a lot of movies that i am/was anxious to see and finally when watching them i get start to check the time to see how much longer. This is not the case here. I have no doubt that Batman Begins will keep my eyes away from the bold numbers on my cell phone while watching it in theatres. I almost pissed my pants when katie holmes was rescued by bats and you finally here his voice. I knew Bale said bats was an animal of sorts but WOW!!! I cannot wait.

My god, they finally got it right. I cannot wait for June 15th![/shadow]

Wow, wow, and may I add, WOW! Christian Bale is even better then I thought. His voice doesn't even sound like his own. It's PERFECT! The story seems to be phenomenal. I loved the part after Rachel hits the guy in the face, Batman grabs him an all you see in the background is Batman just pound on the guy, LOL.

did everyone notice that one line..."Bruce it wasnt your parents fault.....it was your fathers Fault!!!!" Wow....All in all, love the idea of the history of the batcave, love the training how batman became so ninja like. I think this movie will do well in the box office and im predicting it will barely squeeze in the top ten grossed movies out there.

As much as I was looking forward to this and taping it, my wife blocked me. I was working and planned on taping it and thought my wife's show ALIAS would come on afterwards. Wrong! She was wrong on the time for Alias. It overlapped with Smallville and Alias won. No Batman for me.

No problem I do what I can for the legion. Spend too much time scouring the net for news on lots of things not to share it.

I expect to be smited for this, but I thought a couple of the preview scenes were a little slow. Don't get me wrong, the movie clearly holds great promise -- for one thing, it looks great -- but I'm trying to be a realist here and keep it cool until we see it all together.
And though I don't watch Smallville, I did like seeing Clark throw the crystal. Excellent homage.

Thank you. Solid 86!! Just watched it. I truly cannot wait for this movie to come out. He still seems to struggle a little with neck movement though. Ah well. We'll see. I'm expecting the best with this one.

Is anyone else having problems playing that clip? I have updated Quickplayer and it still doesn't work. I burned a DVD from the actual feed, so it's no big deal, but I was hoping to put it on my computer as well.

If your having trouble you most likely do not have the DivX codecs installed to view those types of files....its a free download over at the DivX website. Quicktime wont play it, it has to be opened in windows media player or the DivX player.

I downloaded Divx and it worked flawlessly.
Thanks very much for the tip.
I have watched that clip probably ten times now and I have to say that it's perfect in nearly every way. I am really looking forward to the movie opening.
Mostly everything has been detailed already, but I must say that one of the things I enjoy the most is how much Gary Oldman looks like Lt Gordon in Batman: Year One. It's that attention to detail that I felt the Burton Batman's lacked and the Schumacher Batman's spit on.

The new Batman film looks cool. Bale seems well-cast and I think he's a really good actor. The one thing I'm a bit disappointed about is the apparent lack of atmosphere in the film. I feel Gotham should be just slightly removed from the real world to give it a spookier quality. That's one of the reasons I loved Burton's movies and BTAS so much. Those incarnations seemed to mirror the "real world" through a dark and distorted lens. The new movie seems to lack that kind of semi-gothic, retro atmosphere. Still, the plot seems good and I'm so glad they got away from the day-glo Schumacher stuff. It'll also make Batman and company seem much more realistic, which I think is part of the goal here. That's fine, but I hope they don't completely sacrifice the atmospheric darkness in favor of stark realism.
Don't get me wrong though, I'm really looking forward to the movie. Scarecrow looks creepy. Gary Oldman is awesome, and it looks like he'll be a great Commish.
