I thought it'd be fun to get not only our feedback as fans, but also that of our favorite Industry Celebs...so I pulled a few strings....and here we go! I'll update this all week as they come in. If anyone out there in the industry that I haven't contacted yet wants to donate theirs please email me at matt@legionsofgotham.org
Brad Meltzer - writer Identity Crisis
Let me just say, the first hour of Batman Begins is the greatest first hour of any comic movie out there. ANY of them. The whole movie blew me away. Batman was there. Our Batman. Miller's Batman. I saw him. Felt so damn good to be back.

Devin Grayson - writer Nightwing, War Games
Devin Grayson says that so far the worst thing about the laser eye surgeries she's currently undergoing for a recent diagnosis of Proliferate Diabetic Retinopathy is being forced to miss the opening of the new Bat movie, which she'd been looking forward to for months. Our thoughts are with Devin and we wish her a speedy recovery..and infinite thanks for taking time to even answer our silly email under such circumstances! Get well lady... I needs me Nightwing

Tim Sale - artist Long Halloween, Dark Victory, Catwoman WIR
" The first thing I noticed about BATMAN BEGINS, is that is a serious
movie. That is, it wants to be taken seriously, as any other thriller
movie might; there is no 'comicbook' sense of apology or campiness.
The second thing is that there is no costume for what be 40 minutes.
That means that Nolan and crew take seriously how important it is to set
up the logistical and psychological back story to a man who is
determined to become an icon, and that the trappings that come after must have
root in motivation. As someone who has been fortunate enough to be
invited to play with Batman creatively, and in doing so, felt those same
things important, I couldn't have been happier with those choices.
And Christian Bale? Fabulous."

Jeff Matsuda - Art Director/Producer: The Batman
Hey Matt!
I saw the film at a wb screening last Thursday and I thought it was great!
Christian Bale was perfect as Bruce Wayne, and the casting was inspired for the rest of the characters as well. The sense of reality Nolan gave the
movie made it heads and shoulders above most other comic book movies. I really enjoyed the movie and I feel it places the Batman franchise back where it should be, on top.

Christopher Jones - artist Batman Strikes, Justice League Adventures
What a wonderful film. My congratulations and thanks to Christopher
Nolan, Christian Bale, and the entire cast and crew.
It's so satisfying to see a film that understands Batman and his
motivations, and that is more interested in the character of Bruce
Wayne than in stunt casting and flashy villains.
There are elements borrowed from the top Batman comics of the past two
decades, and one major lessen learned from Frank Miller: Batman works
best in the context of a Gotham that is corrupt and broken, where the
best thing a man with the resources of Bruce Wayne can do to help the
helpless is... become a bat.
