Batman Begins took in $828,114 on Monday July 18th, bringing it's total to $183,968,964 Those of us hoping it will reach the 200 Million Dollar Mark it's going to be a nail biter and like somebody mentioned before I think it will just crawl it's way to that mark, perhaps a bit over.
the local theatre's in my area have reduced the viewings of this film to four a day. That is way down from like 10 times a day....

Batman Begins took in $794,212 on Thursday July 21, 2005 That is up from Wednesday. Hopefully going into and through the weekend the movie will take in another 2 or 4 million dollars. The overall total: $186,377,725
The EARLY ESTIMATES for Friday July 22 are $1,105,000 which totals: $187,483,000 actual numbers for the entire weekend will be known Monday afternoon

Batman Begins finished in the 9th spot taking in an ESTIMATE of 4,730,000 Which raises it's total to 191,108,000 Now these are only the studio ESTIMATES and actual numbers should be out later this afternoon. What is great about this is that I feel as though the movie is still doing really strong, it's still in the top ten, and it should reach the 200 million dollar mark by the end of next weekend. I was actually watching VH-1 last night HOGAN KNOWS BEST and they must of ran the IMAX Batman Begins commercial three times, and I see it played here and there, which is pretty good...[/size]

Well one of my local theaters has pulled Batman to make room for Stealth, Sky High and Must Love Dogs. I'm sure the other theater will follow because it's smaller.

Well one of my local theaters has pulled Batman to make room for Stealth, Sky High and Must Love Dogs. I'm sure the other theater will follow because it's smaller. That Stinks! The theatres in my area are only showing it twice now. And the local IMAX is only having one showing of the movie as well. As said as it is going to see the movie leave the theatre, it's just that much sooner we will all be buying our very own copies at the local Target, Walmart, Video Store, etc...
Batman Begins took in $544,273on Thursday July 28th bringing it's overall total to $193,427,307 I think that the movie will take in between 2-4 million dollars over the weekend...

[shadow=purple,left,300]It's nice to know that "Batman Begins" is still doing decent business at the box office. I'm hoping it can squeeze past $200 million this or the following weekend.[/shadow]

I say give it three more weekends, and the film will have squeezed past the 200 mark. I don't think it will reach that number any quicker than three weeks -- if you compare the numbers, you'll find that Batman Begins is performing at a slightly higher rate than Batman Forever, with an additional 20 million. It's highly unlikely the film will break 200 million this weekend or the next. However, when it does reach that total, it will be only the third film this year (behind Star Wars and War of the Worlds) to hit the double century mark at the U.S. box office!
On a side note, Begins has now made a total of 150 million internationally (which also happens to be the entire production budget), and looks to finish its run at the worldwide box office (U.S. and international) with a total between 360-370 million...with the inevitable DVD sales still looming on the horizon. The Batman franchise is back in a big way, with the most successful installment since Tim Burton's 1989 film.

Batman Begins earned another estimated 2,375,000 dollars this weekend, pushing its total up to around 195,802,000 domestic. As with all previous weekends hopefully it will surpass its estimates and bring in a little extra. Only a little over 4 million left to go for that magical 200 mil mark....slowly but surely its gonna make it.

As long as it remains relatively prominant in local theaters over the next three to six weeks it should pull it off. I'm hoping. I still owe it another viewing too!
