Should Batman get a new suit and a new Batmobile for the sequel? I say no. I annoyed the hell out of me that in the previous series Batman had a new suit and anew Batmobile for every movie. A new Batmobile in Forever made sense since the Burton pretty much was destroyed in Returns. I really like the current suit, they should keep it and not alter it - it's perfect the way it is.
Something inevitable will be a new Batcave since the Batcave in Begins was more of a hideout than a crime lab and Batman's information/monitoring compound.

I say YES and YES! At very least some modifications to both or either would be improvements in my opinion.

[shadow=red,left,300]I think the suit should stay just the way it is. The Batmobile on the other hand, should remain the same, perhaps with a few body modifications.[/shadow]

I would love for him to keep the same suit and BM in the sequel, altho it would be interesting to see what else Nolan & Co. could come up with...Still, the Begins gear was too good to forsake, IMO.

I have seen the movie three times now and I think everything should remain the same. I have no issues with the suit or the Batmobile. It works fine on the big screen, and this is coming from the guy who wanted a Dead End type costume used instead of the black rubber suit.

one big problem i would have is teh bat symbol i cud understand it being black in bergins but 4 the sequel he shud relise that the more seasioned villains aim for his head so to speak maybe have Caine in the film wud be kool, anway so he outlines the symbol in the same type of gold as his belt so that baddies aim 4 his chest and not his head, dont worry i dnt mean a oval of yellow jsut a very fine line of the belt gold around it like batgirl in the comics. The cape clasps shud also be more intergrated in2 the overall suit they did look alittle out of place in the 1st.
As for the batmobile i would like to see the inside be more customised with new tech along with the outside maybe new jets to make it jump higher so he has bigger fins bat type maybe? this is jsut cos i always seen batman as taknig the latest tech and retro fitting his stuff with it.
the worst thing i think they cud do is not change any of it. We are guarnted though that tehre will be some sort of change as warner brothers will want to make figures and stuff and if its the same no1 will buy it even spider-mans costume has a major change in the silver webbing in the 2nd and can be seen on the figures.

The Suit: No
The Car: No, but if he had another alternate car or motorcyle, I would be cool with that.

If there are any changes, there should be at least explainations for it. I found it odd that Batman had an alternative chestplate in Returns and ever since then the suits went downhill *cough* nipples*cough*.

I think that the Batmobile will look different in the sequel. I think they should keep the same shape and size of the tumbler but make it look much sleeker. As for the suit, I wouldn't mind if it stayed the same but I wouldn't be crying for blood if they did modify it a little.

I don't want them to change the suit. But if they wanted to change it a little to make Bale more comfortable, that's fine. As long as the outside appearance doesn't get affected.
As for the Batmobile, I won't have a problem if they modify it a little.

I think both will be different for marketing/merchandise purposes myself but I would prefer they leave the Suit alone and modify the Batmobile a small bit as I believe Bruce would be constantly upgrading

I would be happy if they don't mess with what works already. The suit is great[actually showed it's practicality as a Weapon rather than just a Costume] and the Batmobile is highly functional so why mess with it?If anything just some newer technology in his Arsenal as he adapts to his crusade both for his utility Belt as well as the Car.

I think it is inevitable that some things will change, but I think that both the suit and car are fine with no changes. We know the Batcave will evolve, and I expect that there may be more Bat- vehicles in play (the jet, a cycle, watercraft, etc.). Because of the merchandising aspects involved (and I don't mean to suggest that Nolan would be influenced to make changes in response to those aspects) I would be surprised if everything stayed the same.

I'd prefer the suit & Batmobile stay the same.
One slight modification I wouldn't mind is if some new technology was added to the suit like lenses on the cowl (so he could use heat vision or something).

i think they should stay the same. the gadgets were awesome, and i think they should maybe introduce Robin in the next one to. it will at least have the same Alfred, Batman/Bruce Wayne, and Jim Gordon. which is good. i can't wait to see the Joker.

Schuhmacher's prerogative was 'the more, the better' and I'm sure back then Hasbro happily agreed. Just compare 'Batman' and 'Batman & Robin'. The '89 movie featured one villain, one hero, one suit and two vehicles. The '97 self-parody featured 3 heroes, 3 villains, 6 (!) suits and 5(!!!) vehicles. This time WB has realized that less is more. Just use one vehicle, one suit but market them heavily. Honeslty I do expect a new Batmobile just because that's the way it works. There might also be a new vehicle maybe for air or water assault, I hope for something versatile (so you just need to buy one but actually get two ) If they use too much gadgets the film will loose it's sincerity and we might slip down the path of self-parody again. I'm sure Nolan won't let that happen.

I hope that the suit stays the same, but I'm not a big fan of the Batmobile. Now, I think that they both work great for the tone of the film, but I prefer a more sleek and modern Batmobile. The cave will definitely change, there's no doubt about that. Where's the Batcomputer!! ;D

I would still like to see the black and grey suit, but I'm not gonna cry if they go ahead and keep the same suit. It should not be changed. I would like to see The Tumbler at least modified with some bat fins along the side or something that would make it a little (not a lot, mind you) more 'batty'.

The Suit - i say paint a deep gunmetal gray and leave the symbol black w/ the gauntlets, cowl and cape to match.as for the yellow symbol?always thought bats looks more frightening in black and grey than grey and blue so why a yellow target and gold/yelloy belt kind of draws attention to the one area you don't want shot(lol) The BM? make it longer/sleeker that is all

I think at the start of the sequel, both should be as we saw it in Begins, and then maybe Alfred and Bruce could discuss modifying either or both of them.
to just have a completely new suit and batmobile would be a little strange and contrived. I think if they even discussed it with Lucius Fox and got him to design and build newer equipment would be cool, instead of these new items suddenly just appearing from nowhere, like they did in the other movies.
and I don't think introducing Robin is a good idea. as has been said elsewhere, all Robin does is lighten the mood of the Batman world, I want them to keep the rage of Bruce in the Batman, without having to babysit a Robin character.

Has anyone ever thought of putting nipples on the Batsuit..... Sorry , Bad Idea.
Just kidding. I think both will be modified, but in a very subtle way.

I think both will be modified, but in a very subtle way. i think they actually did that in Batman & Robin. damn you Shumacher. i think it would be cool if they changed the color of the suit to gray, i doubt they will. i do like the suit the way it is. i wish they could do something about the eyes, to make it look like the comic book. i don't know what they'd do though.
