Hey all! I found this Info on a german website - www.batmannews.de/gotham_city_central/gotham_globe/article/2005/07/30.html - and slowly translated it! and here is what it says! BATMAN (2 DVDs)

DISC 2: In the shadow of the Bat Batman: The Heroes Batman: The Villains Behind the wings of Batman Cut scenes/Deleted scenes
It seems to give actually no Directors Cut of Batman Forever. But perhaps conceal itself behind the Special "why Batman Forever?" or in the deleted scenes, as we learn why the film got this title.
NO Deleted Scenes for Batman and Batman returns but may be added later.
But at the latest on the 18 October, we might all over the "Batman: know The Motion Picture Anthology 1989 - 1997".
I have changed some words so it makes sence in english! Ok any thoughts?

I was hoping for a cut of Batman Forever with the deleted scenes added in but oh well, at least I'll finally get to see them. I just hope that they include ALL the deleted scenes and don't just drop the longer ones like some DVDs do.

Very cool, SRA. I'll hero you.
BATMAN: Hmm, not sure. I love my VHS copy. Very good quality even though I've seen it countless times. Plus, the Diet Coke commercial and the Looney Tunes "You can't watch a Warner Brothers movie without a Warner Brothers' ball cap" bring back childhood memories for me. The Bob Kane documentary might be cool, though.
BATMAN RETURNS: I'd love to hear commentary from Burton on the possible symbolism that he may or may not have intended to put into this film. Of the first two films, this is the only he's happier about. Other than that, I can't think of any other reason why I'd buy it.
^ No deleted scenes on the Burton films, but I don't think anyone will miss them. I don't think any of them significantly change the story like Batman Forever's deleted scenes did. Although it may have been cool to see more footage from back then, I guess I'm cool with the cut scenes staying in the WB vault.
BATMAN FOREVER: Please please please let all the deleted scenes be those that would've been in the director's cut. I imagine fans all over will be using those and intercutting it into the real film as well as make their own edits to the real film. That would be sweet.
BATMAN & ROBIN: No thank you. I will only get this and watch it if I decide to get the full gift set.

Pretty HUGE dissapointment in my opinion. Some of what youre describing could be interesting but likely nothing truly special and mostly just filler to make a buck. A Burton commentary could be interesting? and any inclusion of Bob Kane (set visits etc) are are a nice and welcome touch, but mostly under the circumstances this is a let down! C'Mon, weve been pleading for most this stuff for a dacade and worse we've been getting teased with it for jsut as long and especially since Begins began! What is the justification now for holding off? maybe cause people will buy on impulse a big expensive dvd "special collector's edition" boxed set because it's there? riding on Begins coat-tails? Kinda like the legacy box set is magically all over shelves again suckering people? How much $ is WB getting for nothing?
No deleted scenes from Batman89? (of which there were several that did matter or altered the film)No directors cut of Forever? (didnt WB and Schumacher claim "all will be forgiven and I /we will be redeemed once we do this?" and we owe the fans the "better movie"? WTF?
I'm satisifed I have all on tape and all but Returns on DVD. I think if this makes it to my home it will be the result of a X-mas gift from a family member. In that case I'll snoop though it and put it on my shelf w/ the others. Otherwise I am hardly dumping what, 30-50$ on it!?

No deleted scenes from Batman89? (of which there were several that did matter or altered the film) Would they have altered the film much? I personally don't think any of them would've altered the film significantly in tone or storyline: www.batmanmovieonline.com/lostscenes/

[shadow=purple,left,300]It's a little disappointing that we won't be getting the "Batman Forever" director's cut. However, I'm sure there will be several deleted scenes that would have been featured in such a director's cut.
I'm only buying the first three films, like most people. I'm happy we're getting two-disc sets, and that they come with half-way decent extras.[/shadow]

There has to be some deleted scenes from Batman '89 they can put in there. Even so, I'll be in Target on October 18 as soon as they open.

Yes there are at least 3-4 deleted scenes that I know of for certain! and that couldve alterred the story to one degree or another. I would love to have the chance to see the "Knox as Batman tease" and the original opening "Batman on rooftop scene / dialog" played out as written (by the way it was edited and appeard, it was obviously initially filmed as written).
