This is something that I've been thinking about for awhile...The inclusion of landmarks from the comics for the new sequels that will eventually appear in theaters the world-over. As a die-hard, I'd love to see just any of these in a new movie...But which one?
Feel free to discuss your picks and your reasons for doing so...

I would love it if the powers-that-be were able to tie the R.H.Kane Building into the movies as a tribute to the man who started it all...( ...Along with the un-credited Bill Finger... )A man who, unfortunatly, didn't get a chance to live and see Batman Begins, and instead, had to live with Batman & Robin...

I agree, Blackgate would be a cool setting for a sequel, and, it would allow for more characters who wouldn't get their own movies (like KGBeast, or, Ratcatcher) to appear at least in a movie, albeit, in the role of a cameo...

I think that it's interesting that somebody chose The Clocktower...It would be a great setting and would/ could establish Oracle in the later films...

[shadow=purple,left,300]I don't pay a lot of attention to various landmarks. I'm just glad that we've gotten Wayne Tower and Arkham Asylum, to be honest. However, I would at least like a mention of either the R.H. Kane Building or the Robert Kane Memorial Bridge somewhere down the line. I think it would be a decent nod to the man behind the Bat.[/shadow]

According to the Batman Begins Visual Guide, Martha Wayne's maiden name was Martha Kane. I think the R.H. Kane Building could fit in as being a memorial for Bruce's other grandfather. It would be an appropriate homage as well as a way to bring the mother further into the story a bit (considering that in Batman Begins went a similar route to Superman: The Movie in which the father gave all the advice and the mother asked questions and didn't give her son diddly squat, LOL).
I'd also love to see a Bill Finger type of homage because he is basically the other half of the Batman creator team. Kind of like Siegel and Shuster for Superman, except if Siegel was given more credit and Shuster had a lesser known impact (or vice versa). Maybe have an action sequence place on William Finger Memorial Bridge or something.

I actually was thinking about that this morning...His mom didn't have any real dialog in 'Begins'...So, in the sequel, I think/ believe that Nolan/ Goyer should elaborate on the scenes that we've previously seen and just add extra elements around them; i.e., you have a scene of his mother walk to the car in the 1st movie, and then you add the dialog/ whatever around that for the second one...That, or create more flash-backs...
I would have it kind of like the opening to 1994's The Shadow movie...Where the action starts out on a bridge; it would also fit in-character/ with the style of the great B:TAS...

I enjoy the use of fictional "landmarks" from any established book series, as it encourages continuity between the print and the screen medias, without ruining either's storyline...If I just settled for Wayne Tower and Arkham, that would be like me saying, "I'll accept anything"...Which, in essence, is true because I'd love to see new Batman-themed buildings in the sequels, but, that doesn't mean that I'll just settle with whatever the studio deemed "important enough"...
