cool, they look great.
will the boxset/Anthology be available in region 2?
I've seen the SE dvds advertised separately, but no boxset of them yet.

Love the Disc art, it's simply fantastic! That website is great too. I'm so excited about tomorrow!!! One of the things that really upset me about the original DVD's were that the special features were almost non-existent. I think that the James Bond DVD's are great because of the animated menus and the great features that went along with it. Now it seems we're finally going to have that with Batman. Can't wait till tomorrow!!!!!!

thanks for that SRA, but are we UK fans not getting a Region 2 Anthology Boxset? will that be Region 1 only?
I would prefer to get a boxset of the SE films.

Region 1 are at this time will be getting the Anthology! However on the brightside Region 2 have the better cover art!! If you do go on play.com then click international and look for the Anthology its only £35.99 including packaging but i have gone for the single releases!!
Up to you i do have a multi regional player but i just liked the R2 better!!
But it may come out later in the year!?!

yeah thats what i'm worried about. i don't want to rush and buy the 4 SE films separately, then find out near Christmas that they're gonna release a Regeion 2 boxset.
i sold my 'The Batman DVD Collection' in preparation or the SE versions/Boxset so there's a nice space for the boxset on my shelf.

just seen this on ebay: Click Meits the Batman anthology, but it includes Begins too, and says 1989-2005 on the front. didn't know it existed. but IMO its not a good idea because Begins is part of a new franchise, so its pointless joining it to the other 4 movies in this way. just though it was interesting anyway, and worth showing you guys.

well, it says that there is 'asian writing' on the disc, and its Region 0, so it might be something specially for asia.
or it might be an illegally produced knock-off in china or taiwan or somwhere, but the packaging looks convincing.
but i doubt WB would actually release Begins with the other 4, because they want to make people understand this is a re-start for the franchise, so mixing a new film with the old ones doesn't make sense.

so um..... *squirm* did anyone buy the forever special edition and watch the cut scenes? I bought it but don't have a dvd player/tv right now. (i'm thinking of rigging my computer to do it). somewhere on here, or somewhere out on the web, someone talked about some of the cut scenes explaining why it got the title forever. i've always thought THAT movie should have been called Batman & Robin, and the fourth one shoulda been called garbage. I've always disliked the forever title because it seems so lame, absolutely no point to it, like they were desperate for a title and that was all they could do. anyone?

I liked the title... and still do. I just wish they had, and hope they do, change that format for titleing the Bat-movies!

i watched them. i knew about all but one of those deleted scenes. Forever was written as a much more psychological movie from Bruces stand point than what was given to us in the theatres. The addition of the cave scene would have been a tremendous positive to that movie. There was one part of it that i didnt like tho, in the end where he steps back out of the cave and looks at Alfred and says "I'm Batman, Alfred. I'm Batman." I think the delivery was kind of cheesy, but the inside cave scene where he was reading the book and realized it wasnt his fault what happened was a great emotional performance by Val. "It's not my fault. It wasnt my fault" as he holds the book to his chest and looks up with tears in his eyes. Thats good stuff. I always thought Forever was a good summer blockbuster movie. Lots of action. I think it had the potential to be a great Batman movie had the studio and others didnt want to "lighten" up the approach. I would have loved to see WB give Joel the oppertunity to finish the deleted scenes and release his "directors cut".

dood, THANKS. i was hoping someone would check in. too bad about the cheesy delivery. bugger. but I am looking forward to it now. if you check back in.....the pictures and very brief flashes i've seen of that giant bat at the end make me wanna ralph. how did it come off visually? also....one of the scenes that i swore I saw in the theater (but i could be wrong, could just have a vivid imagination from reading the book) where two face and riddler have somehow jimmied the car and sent bats to the wrong location and he bursts into a hair parlor by mistake. I remember the black and white checkerboard pattern of the floor and the girls in the place slinking up and hitting on him. just a brief scene, maybe 5-10 seconds long. am I right/wrong? thanks!

Hey, I don't know if anyone knows this, but I'll post it again anyway if it has -
Barbara Gorden has been already cast. Look at the credits at the end of Batman Begins. You'll see the name of Ilyssa Fradin cast beside the name of Barbara

*lol* Yes, most likely I am. I realized it last night when I was in bed and then I realized, since I thought it was Barbara Jr. I was swearing my head off until morning because I only read the day before that Barbara Gorden's name was shared with her mother/daughter it the day before God, I can actually imagine her in Batgirl's cape and cowl, and I'm telling ya it ain't pretty

I have to wait for my birthday before I can get the Anthology. I was supposed to have gotten it for Christmas, but no where in my are had it. Many of the places never had it in stock. What do I expect living in West Virginia?
