[shadow=purple,left,300]According to TV Guide, this is true.
God, Cartoon Network is becoming the next MTV.[/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,300]It's strange that CN would air a live action movie of any sort. [/shadow]

They've started running kid-oriented/animation-oriented live action movies this month. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet.
Anyway, I'll watch "Batman" with my son, who hasn't seen it yet.

But why is CN showing "Batman"? Why aren't they showing Batman Begins? Agreed. Maybe Begins can't be shown on TV yet, don't movies usually come to TV a while after their DVD release? I have yet to hear of plans to show Begins on TV at all yet. And I agree that it is odd that CN would show anything that is purely live-action.

First view movie rights were sold by WB to, I believe, AMC

Wow, this is weird that Toonami is showing a live action Batman movie, and a violence and dark one too. They probably gonna edit things out. Anyways, it's all good, at least it's not Spider-man. (Hey, why not? since half of the Spiderman movie is animated anyways). I see this event as a respect to Batman, if it can show up on Cartoon Network as a live action movie then there's no stopping Batman, dudes.

The Spider-Man movie isn't animated. & 2nd. Yes I'm glad it's being shown on CN. But I just hope they don't try to bill it as a kid's movie. Like when Disney channel showed Beetlejuice.

Personally I couldnt care less one way or the other. Does it really matter? or seriously bother anyone? I'll be the first to admit by all appearances CN would seem to be ran by 13 moderately trained geriatric monkies and their dyslexic handler with severe attention deficit disorder, but so what?

You're right. Anyway, we watched it tonight. Good lord, it had a gazillion commercials.

[shadow=purple,left,300]I'll admit, I watched about half of it. But they had commercials, like, every six minutes, so I stopped watching. [/shadow]

[/shadow] there is nothing worse IMO-over commercialising DESTROYS any good movie.-Batman,Goonies,Gremlins,raiders Of The Lost Ark,Superman always shows every 2 months or so over here on TCM as the Friday night movie with about 4 breaks-hopeless Bat/Joker addict I am I usually watch (and Indy too )
