[shadow=red,left,1000]So did anybody see Captain America yet?
Personally, I kind of liked it. I wouldn't say its better then Thor or even X-men:First Class, but it's still an great movie. I was a little disappointed with how they handled the Red Skull and while Hayley Atwell wasn't as bad as January Jones or Blake Lively her performance was a little weak.
Luckily Tommy Lee Jones, Toby Jones, Stanley Tucci, Dominic Cooper and of course Chris Evans (who is perfect as Captain America) all make up for the movie's down sides.[/shadow]
DC's been trying to do a Wonder Woman movie for years now, but nothing seems to get off the ground. Even the TV pilot didn't get picked up. Is it really that hard to adapt Wonder Woman in a live-action movie or series? Maybe the creators in the DC animation department should try to look into this.
[shadow=red,left,1000]I agree 100% ;D[/shadow].

Damn some people will complain about anything and everything they try. For ten years after batman and robin, everyone bitched that they weren't making dark bat films...now...what, they're too dark for people??? if you're a fan, you just need to go for the ride.
[shadow=red,left,1000]LOL, Yes complaining about Batman being to dark is ridiculous.
But just for the record, that isn't what Eric is talking about in his post.[/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,1000]I am on the fence about this movie. On one hand I felt it was a decent movie, but on the other hand I felt the character really deserved better.
Seeing as how the movie has officially bombed in the box office, I highly doubt we will be seeing a sequel. To be honest, I don't want to see a sequel (DC should make a Wonder Woman movie instead) unless the plan to approve on a few aspects.[/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,1000]I have been gone for a while, so time to catch up!
First of all, I am super excited for this. I loved the original graphic novel and I am a fan of Cranston and Sackhoff. My only two hesitations are, as Twisted has already mentioned, the sexist undertones that are present in the original graphic novel and Murphy writing the script seeing at how bad Superman/Batman: Apocalypse was.[/shadow]
Hey guys. Im just poping in to give my opinion on the new teaser.
Hate it. Out of all the teaser posters ever done for any Batman film this is the least "Batman" out of any of them. There is nothing iconic about this. At all. Inception was the very first thing I thought of when I saw this. This is not Inception. This is Batman. When are we going to get that again? Hopefully when Nolan leaves this franchise.
I know that there are alot of Nolan fans out there and they love this take, good for you. I hate what Nolan has done and cant wait to see a return to the more comic book based elements. Realism is the worst thing that ever happened. Its nothign more than a lack of creativity and imagination.
My opinion. :cheers
[shadow=red,left,2000]I agree with you on the poster, but I respectfully disagree with you to an extent on comic book movies with more realistic elements. Personally, I feel realism makes comic book movies more accesable to more mainstream audeiences and gives people the chance to consider the real-life mental and physical implications of being a superhero.
I should also add that it allso depends on your defiention of the word "Realistic."[/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,700] I am going to wait till I actually read the comic before I make a judgment call on it, but I really not that fond of the new suit ether.
Seriously, was the change really necessary?
Oh well, at least it doesn't have nipples.[/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,500]Yeah, I thought it was pretty good aswell. To be honest, I walked in with very low expectations. (Not exactly a fan of Nicholas Cage.) But it was actually a good movie and Nicholas Cage was actually really good, but in my opinion Mark Strong and Chloƫ Grace Moretz stole the show.
My only real complaint I have with the movie was both Aaron Johnson and Lyndsy Fonseca's acting. Not only could Johnson barley carry the movie, but it was like he was channeling Toby McGuire's performance in Spider-Man. It was just way to painful to watch. Speaking of painful to watch, let's not get started on Fonseca's performance.
Other then that, It was just a good movie. It's not amazing, but it was good.[/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,300]I am very impressed with the villain designs so far. I can't wait to see what Mysterio looks like! (After all, he is the final boss!) [/shadow]
isnt Gotham Knight a part of the movie universe? so its not really an original animated movie. if you include that, then you should include the Timmverse movies too.
[shadow=red,left,1000]As Twisted said, Batman: Gotham knight was made and distriputed under the DC Universe Animated Orginal movies title, thus making it both a part of the movie verse and an offical DCU movie. The only way it could have been strictly a part of the movie verse if it was stritly made and distriputed by Christopher Nolan and Co. and nobody from DC Universe Animated Orginal movies had anything to do with it!
Now with that being said, let's just continue on with the conversation. If you would like to include anything from the Timverse feel free to.
So here is my list: 1. Batman: Under the Red Hood 2. Wonder Woman 3. Justice League: The New Fronteir 4. Justice League: Chrisis on Two Earths 5. Green Lantern: First Flight 6. Superman/Batman: Public Enimies 7. Superman: Doomsday 8. Batman: Gotham Knight (Of course.)[/shadow]

DC Animation Vet James Tucker confirmed a NEW syndicated Batman animated series in production. It will be CGI and come on the heals of the upcoming Green Lantern series... so late 2011-2012.
Well at least we'll still get a Battoon when TBATB is cancelled. I hope we're back to basics with a regular Batman series and not a team-up show.
I'm a little disappointed that there's no Batman 3 news other than the Riddler rumors.
[shadow=red,left,300]Yeah, I was a little disappointed with the lack of Batman and Spider-Man news. This years Comic-Con just seemed to revolve around Joss Wheadon and The Avengers and Green Lantern. Which is understandable since Thor, Captain America and Green Lantern are coming out just next year and it was finally confirmed that Joss will be the man behind the camera for Th Avengers movie. But a few pieces of Batman 3 and Spider-Man Reboot news would have been nice.
BTW: Am I the only one who hopes that the new Battoon will take place a little bit later in the Batman's career?[/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,300]^ I think it's safte to say Artemis is just a renamed Arrowette. And if you watch the preview, Speedy will be in the series.
I must admit, I am not bothered by this, or the fact that Aqualad looks differnt from his comic book counterpart. What bothers me is that it seems there using Dick Grayson instead of Tim Drake and their using Wally West instead of Bart Allen! [/shadow]

The Justice League will also feature, including members Batman (Bruce Greenwood), Aquaman (Phil LaMarr), Green Arrow (Alan Tudyk), and Captain Marvel (Rob Lowe). With Marina Sirtis as Queen Bee.

[shadow=red,left,300]Here's a few production updates I found when surfing the web. Apparantly Saban is on there last week of casting so we should have few confirmed names by at least August. I also have two more sides: [/shadow]
Skinny Mack, 18 -23 year old all ethnicity male. He has a slim, lanky build with great comedic abilities. He is someone that you look at and he makes you laugh. Skinny Mack and his sidekick, Big Jack work as street cleaners and have an entertaining way of picking up trash alongside the streets by dancing their way through the streets with broom in hand. They are the comedic relief and the fun side of each story. They are constantly getting themselves in difficult but comedic situations. These two characters are similar to Laurel and Hardy or Bulk and Skull, both with over the top slap stick skills. Dance, street dancing or hip hop abilities are a big plus.
