[shadow=red,left,300]Hmm, not much of a radical departure from the Penguin were all used to. Still, he looks good.[/shadow]

Thanks for the pic. He was barely visable in the teaser commercial, so it is good to have a more detailed and clear pic.

Wow. They really tried to make him look like a penguin. Notice the two sides of hair are orange. Just like an emperor penguin.

My first impression was: "Woah the Mad Hatter gained weight!" ;D
Kinda interesting - they're going back to the much-despised Burton/Mutant style, which I actually prefer.

Wow. They really tried to make him look like a penguin. Notice the two sides of hair are orange. Just like an emperor penguin. ha! i was wondering why they chose orange hair... i guess it makes more sense than i thought... other than that it looks like they stuck to a pretty classic design: round, portly, sharp nose, well dressed... looks good to me!

Thanks for the pic Matt! I'm glad they stuck pretty close to the original design on this one. I can't think of a way that the Penguin could really be changed to fit the designs I've seen, and yet still remain the same character. The Joker design, while shocking, was not a major departure from the character we all love. Some of the others, again, while unexpected, are not outside the potential beginnings for those characters.

He looks like Tim Sale's Penguin.[/quote That's exactly what was thinking when I saw this design. He also resembles Eduardo Risso's Penguin from the recent Broken City storyline, Eduardo 's Penguin had fangs as well.

[shadow=purple,left,300]I loved the Tim Burton version. The older, umbrella-bird fetish Penguin was very, um... not good. And the current, all-white dressed mob-boss version still doesn't work for me, comic book wise. I've loved the TV series/ movie portrayals much better than the comics.[/shadow]

Thank God they didn't make him a penguin mutant! Would like him better with black hair, but since he isn't a mutant I'm not going to complain ;D

[shadow=navy,left,300]How much longer 'til we see Mr. Freeze, or someone puts Scarecrow back on the boards?
Never saw Scarecrow... [/shadow] Same here. Never did see ol' Johnny's alter-ego and Mr. Freeze is the villain I'm anticipating the most.

Will Catwoman have her Batman Returns look too? I wish the Joker looked like Nicholson over Bob Marley. I wonder how dark they are willing to get on a Sat. morning cartoon? The Joker looks like he should be a real sick killer with that design over the goofier(yet still good for what it was) Cesaer Romero version. Get John Edwards to do an exclusive, distasteful interview with Cesaer Romero to find out what he thinks
