This is so far the only thing i don't like about this cartoon. Isn't that one of the points of the whole scareface thing? he's only a puppet! But still poses a threat to the dark knight. And that the ventriloquist is so nuts that a puppet can control him not the other way around? Him being a massive robot or whatever is just not right.
but this could be a dream sequence or something so i guess i won't know until....it comes to Australia in 2009 or whenever.....

[shadow=green,left,300]Its also possible that he starts out small, but expands to battle. The basic essence of the character can still be there..the point of the ventriloquist is the blatant split personalities. Honestly, Scarface has always been kinda a joke, so I'm glad they're giving him some more menacing attributes.[/shadow]

This is the first thing that I don't really like. But oh well, it won't take anything out of the show.

I'm not really impressed. The Ventriloquist was the deranged person behind Scarface, not SCarface himself.

Well, it's definately different, that's for sure. I'll wait to see the episode before I decide whether or not this new design works.

I could almost see Scarface as a mech suit of sorts.... I guess that would be more along the lines of the Toyman though.

I'm happy with him,i like the unique new takes on some of the characters and this one is no different. Not really interested in seeing just having the exact same repeats.A change is always good IMHO.

Eh, although scarface has always been, in my mind, a disposable villain anyway I really dont care. I can see the coolness in the concept but it doesnt work for me.

I highly doubt that Scareface could look like that at all times....then it wouldn't make sense that the ventriloquist would be needed...then what would be the point? Robots have the ability to operate independantly....a ventriloquist and his dummy are one unit. Hope that makes sense, cuz now I'm confused.[/color][/shadow] ;D

[glow=purple,2,300]The Ventriloquist character never really did anything for me to begin with, so I have no problem with the new design.
BTW, does anyone (Matt) have any idea if Scarface is going to have the speech impediment that he has in the comics? Y'know the whole "I hate you Gatman!"[/glow]

[shadow=purple,left,300]Okay... that's bad. Bad, bad, bad, bad, and bad. Now, I'm referring to whatever acid-laced sequence is happening in the picture. I really hope this is NOT a permanent change.
BTW, thanks for the pic. [/shadow]

and don't worry about ol' Scarface......he'll turn out alright [shadow=purple,left,300]I'm not worried anymore, at least. You know what would be kind of awesome to see (and this is what I thought it was before I saw it was giant Scarface): Scarface as the ventriloquist, and the Ventriloquist as his dummy. That would be a change I'd personally find amusing. ;D[/shadow]
