Ive heard a march 8 premier from people on worlds finest forums. And supposedly the commercial advertising this is pretty awesome. Wish someone would put it up online since I'm not about to wake up in the morning for a commercial.

I know it's WAY too early, but is there any talk of another animated Batman show at any point in the future, with no more JLU or TB, is this the last we see of Batman in any animated form?

I might be a little late to this, but why again was The Batman cancelled? Not enough ratings? WB had enough of the show? I am not sure I get the move especially with The Dark Knight coming out this summer....
And like Professor Crane, I am always curious if another animated Batman will be in the works?

It seems as though there has been an effort to get rid of all DC cartoons. Anyone else see the pattern? It won't be long now before we find out LoSH is gone as well.

it's because the DTV DVDs are selling quite well. i guess they figure that if people will pay for our animation, why give it to them for free.

Very stupid move on the WB's part. The movie is coming out in the summer...how can they end a cartoon, especially such a ratings hit? Especially to put on a played out "Spider-man" cartoon...honestly. They really suck if you ask me. It explains, why no new toys were shown at the Toy Fairs. I am truly and deeply disapointed.

Its not even WB's call really. This move comes back to Mattel. It is them that supports the show. Their sales weren't good enough, so they opted to make no more toys.

In all honesty, this season was less-than-thrilling for me. I haven't had the will to watch, because I feel this whole Justice League angle was too much for the show to handle. I'm glad it's ending, if only so Mattel doesn't force Batman to start teaming up with Scooby-Doo and the Transformers in order to sell more toys.

Don't judge! It was cool back then. At least I thought so. Of course I was four. Hmmm.

Nah, you don't understand the business side of cartoons, my friend. WB owns the rights to their own characters, but they don't put TV shows on for free and the enjoyment of the public. They do it for money. And who pays them money? Mattel. There is your short version, lol. You can blame who you wish, of course, but I'm just trying to help you guys understand the reality of the way things work behind the scenes. Its stupid, yes, but reality.

Don't judge! It was cool back then. At least I thought so. Of course I was four. Hmmm. This might just be from my immense love of team ups and crossovers... But, although Transformers would not be my first (through the first couple of pages of the list) choice for a Batman team up, it would still be really cool. Can't really think of a reasonable way it could work, but it would be cool. Although it would be kinda neat if Mattel started using their DC license for their other toylines. Like what Hasbro does using their licenses across attacktix, Mr. Potato head, and Superhero squad. It makes all those characters that are from different licenses and shows into one scale that kids can easily play with. Get a Batman team up show out of Mattel's licenses and what they brought together. Batman teaming up with Heman for instance. DrGreenEvil

Its stupid, yes, but reality. thanks for clearing that up Matt. i didnt even think of it like that. i thought that since Warner Brothers owns it all it's their complete decision. it does make sense business wise though. the more things like this i hear, the more i dislike Mattel. but that's a story for another day. thanks again for clarifying.
