Sweet, the rest of season one is going to rock, and season two, is already shaping up to be great, with those villains listed.

I remember someone saying Clayface will be season 2 too. [shadow=purple,left,300]Well, it's way too early to know everyone who'd be appearing in Season 2. He is a huge possibility. Now, I remember hearing something about the Cluemaster appearing somewhere. Is the episode not confirmed for any season or what? BTW, thank you for keeping us informed![/shadow]

I may have some of the details wrong, but Cluemaster is a villain who (reportedly) loses on a gameshow and then kidnaps the other contestants to hold a rematch in his basement. It actually sounded pretty creepy, and not at all like the wanna-be Riddler we're accustomed to.
As for Clayface--well, I don't recall hearing anything about Clayface on this series, but I imagine when he shows up, whoever he is, it will make for another interesting, highly compelling take on the character.
Anybody else excited that Hugo Strange is making his way to The Batman in season two? I almost suspect that we'll see a return to his classic roots, as a mad scientist who transformed his victims into monsters. Either way, it'll be great to see Hugo utilized in this series.

Re: A season break...that sounds pretty accurate to me. But hey, you know what you're talking about, so of course it'd be accurate. If they air 6-8 in a row and then repeat those before airing the rest, that would take us close to Februrary sweeps. My only problem with that is, I'd assume they would want new episodes for November sweeps. Which would mean they'd either have to air more episodes than I listed, or introduce a repeat or two somewhere after "The Cat and the Bat" airs in the first weekend of October. This is all assuming they only air the first 13 first, then take a long break before airing the next 13. Which, technically, may not be that accurate an assumption.

Spellbinder? ? ? ? ? ? Batman Beyond Spellbinder? Kinda Robo..but not really. Spellbinder was actually an obscure old character from the comics way before batman beyond...and I think its based a little more on that...but honestly, Matsuda and team have their own vision for all the villians...so we'll see. Don't expect to see the same costume/villian as Batman Beyond for sure, though

I wonder what the chances of seeing Harvey Dent and, or Two-Face in season 2 or 3. Is there a posibility of seeing him in this show at all and if yes when?

[shadow=green,left,300]I wish I could answer all the questions you guys have, but you don't want everything spoiled right! My best advice to you is this....sit back, relax and enjoy the show for what it is. This team is starting over with a brand new vision for the Batman animated universe...don't look for anything to be like BTAS...BTAS is done. Its over. This is all new and unique. Let it be what it is. If a character shows up, great...if not, then try to trust that whatever is done is done for the good of this new vision...Matsuda and team know what they're doin'! Just enjoy it.[/shadow]

Well said, Matt. From my understanding of where the crew is heading in terms of certain characters/villains, I'm not holding my breath for Harvey. Personally, that doesn't bother me at all.
Harvey was fleshed out well in B:TAS, and The Batman crew has so many new ideas that I don't need to see them rehash elements from the classic series. I don't think those desiring pathos from their villains will be disappointed at all, but I think people should give it time and let the story progress without being *too* spoiled.
Like Matt said, whoever does or doesn't show up, there is a reason for it. We should trust that they (the crew) know what they are doing, and wouldn't omit any classic character just for the heck of it.
It might be a lot to ask for trust after just two episodes--but after watching "Call of the Cobblepot" can anyone actually dispute that these guys have a vision for this series?
Speaking just for myself, I can't wait to see that vision play out, regardless of whether some of my personal favorite foes make it into this series or not.

would it be better to start him off as leiutenant? That may depend on how the movie goes. . .if by the end of the movie he's promoted, perhaps the show will reflect that? Of course, if season 2 airs before Begins comes out, then he'd have to be a lieutenant, if they're implying it's the same continuity.

Nope, no Gordon...yet. All of season one discludes him, btu I wouldn't be surprised if he pops up in season 2 as a lower rank (he works his way up, of course!)

I'd bet all the money I have that Scarecrow and Ra's show up close to Begins. EVERY other Batman form is doing this (example the Hush wave 3) so I bet we see em here too. Tru Scarcrow was scrapped, but maybe only for this season or so until WB decides it will be a good time to release him (around Begins, who would guess)
