BURBANK, CA (September 23, 2004) - On Saturday, September 18, Kids'
WB!'s new breakout hit The Batman led the network to capture all Saturday
morning competition, including cable, to rank #1 in the key
demographics of Boys 6-11 (4.5/19), Tweens 9-14 (3.7/19) and Male Tweens 9-14
(5.5/26). Kids' WB! topped the broadcast competition in Kids 2-11
(2.6/12), Kids 6-11 (3.1/14) and Boys 2-11 (3.8/16). Among Kids 2-11, the
network outperformed ABC Kids (1.7/7), CBS (1.2/6) and Fox Box (0.9/4).
Among Kids 6-11, Kids' WB! left the other broadcast networks behind,
outranking ABC Kids (1.8/8), Fox Box (1.1/5) and CBS (0.8/4).
For the morning, The Batman, at 10:30 a.m. ET, built on its impressive
debut delivering significant week-to-week gains among Kids 2-11
(+18%/+17%), Boys 2-11 (+14%/+6%), Girls 2-11 (+29%/+80%), Girls 6-11
(+67%/+80%) and Tweens 9-14 (+5%/+12%). For the morning the breakout hit
finished as the #3 program in Male Tweens 9-14 (6.4/26), tying with Xiaolin
Showdown, and #4 in Boys 2-11 (4.8/19), Boys 6-11 (5.0/20) and Tweens
9-14 (4.2/19). Among the broadcast competition, the Dark Knight ranked
as the #2 program in Kids 2-11 (3.3/14) and #4 in Kids 6-11 (3.5/15).
White-hot Yu-Gi-Oh! Waking The Dragons, in its 11:00 a.m. ET time
period, ranked #1 among all competition, including cable, in Boys 2-11
(4.9/20), tying with Pokémon Advanced Challenge (4.9/18) and Nickelodeon's
"SpongeBob SquarePants" (4.9/18), Boys 6-11 (6.2/25) and Male Tweens
9-14 (7.1/28), tying with Pokémon Advanced Challenge, and ranked as the #2
overall program in Tweens 9-14 (4.5/20). The animé-hit took the #3
broadcast program spot in Kids 6-11 (3.7/16) and #4 spot in Kids 2-11
(3.1/14).
The animé-adventure Pokémon Advanced (10:00 a.m. ET) finished as the #1
program for the morning among all competition in Boys 2-11 (4.9/18),
tying with Yu-Gi-Oh! Waking The Dragons (4.9/20) and Nickelodeon's
"SpongeBob SquarePants" (4.9/18), Tweens 9-14 (4.8/21) and Male Tweens 9-14
(7.1/28), tying Yu-Gi-Oh ! Waking The Dragons, and ranked #2 overall in
Boys 6-11 (5.4/21). The hit series ranked as the #1 broadcast program
