After watching The Batman i feel that the Bruce Timm version was a true ANIMATED SERIES and we now have a kid friendly CARTOON. All i know is that this father of three loves his Saturday mornings again!!!

All i know is that this father of three loves his Saturday mornings again!!! You are absolutely correct, sir...at least in my opinion. I'm hoping as the series progresses, it too will be less kid friendly and more realistic like the Bruce Timm version. So far, I like it despite the fact its not a B/T clone....

So far, I like it despite the fact its not a B/T clone.... So, you would like it better if it was exactly like everything that has been done before?

[glow=blue,2,300]Not to be a mean, but aren't the Timm/Matsuda comparions getting old ?
I like both versions a lot, but for different reasons. I gre w up with BTAS, but I still love Matsuda's The Batman for it's original style.
And to quote Batman Returns, "Things Change."[/glow]

(Sorry for the rant, and I know I do not have the power to stop it, this is just my opinion)

[shadow=purple,left,300]Everything is working out perfectly, with a few minor glitches that really don't take away from the series. As a teen, I somewhat hate cartoons; they are so jumpy and annoying. I mean, in about five years, Nickelodeon's hit show will be a bunch of yellow and blue dots flashing on screen. "The Batman" has changed my opinion. I actually thought that's what WB was going for. But things progressed, and my opinion was salvaged. Change is good. Finally, I hope we can start putting a nail in the coffin regarding Timm/ Matsuda comparisons- there's nothing to compare. In fact, I think we should put in the site somewhere that they are 2 different people, and they are each creatively different and equally genius. Add to that a disclaimer: Comparing the two might cause you to go cross-eyed. [/shadow]

I could not have put it better myself J-man and we need to cut the compare/contrast with these two UNBEILEVABLE artists and if we could put this issue behind us, this place will be better off, eventhough it can't get much better as this place is already awesome abd the BEST BATMAN site for us the fans.

[shadow=green,left,300]I'm with Josh on this one! the Timm/Matsuda thing is getting old. Matsuda has great respect for Timm and isn't trying to show him up...everyone knows that can't be done..but does Jim Lee not pencil a comic becuase Neal Adams already did an iconicly fine job at it in the past? NO. we still need the variety of different artists and visions in the batman universe to keep it fresh![/shadow]
